Vintage Moog 1125 Sample & Hold Controller

via this auction

"Like Hen's Teeth!!

super-rare vintage Moog 1125 Sample & Hold Controller for use with your original Minimoog or modular Moog synth. This one was manufactured in 1977 by Moog Music Inc. at their Buffalo, New York HQ.

Complete with all original fitted connectors, there are just four plugs to hook up, and you can be up and running in a jiffy. There is a 6-pin Jones plug for power (from the Minimoog), an S-Trig plug and two jack plugs to trigger oscillator pitch and filter (or volume).

It generates random or sawtooth samples or a combination of both, varied by slider. Scale and glide are varied in a similar way. There is a wide/narrow scale span switch, variable rate (speed) and pattern rotary controls, separate output switches and short/long trigger switch."

MOOG 1150 Ribbon Controller

via this auction
"The 1150 is a classic Bob Moog innovation. It sends CV and Gate out and is the preferred interface for many performers. This item works with early Moogs with the Cinch Jones accessory connector.

This 1150 works completely, but the gate is occasionally inconsistent if you don't touch it in the right place (perhaps due to some oxidization on the touch plate). There is a sweet spot on the touch plate that will send gate correctly all of the time. The ribbon has a slight voltage drop once the gate is released. It will require a wiring harness (like the one included with the Moog Sample & Hold in my other auction) in order to make it useful. The cosmetic condition is very good--with some light wear here and there."

Moog Micromoog

Some interesting vocals through filter processing at 3:11 on.

via this auction
"I made a video of it so you can see that it is functional and also so you can hear how beautiful and rich this particular Micromoog sounds. I have owned three Micromoogs over the years and I always held on to this one because I always though it had the juiciest, most alive sound. It is an earlier one from 75 or 76, perhaps that has something to do with it.... I am a visual artist, not a musician. I used the Micromoog to make sound effects and experimental songs for films and animations. If you are going to use the Micromoog to make traditional music, you might need to reference the instruction manual and follow the instructions on tuning. Perhaps you can tell from watching the video if it is in tune or not...

Included in this auction are:
-The Moog Micromoog
-A really nice, spiral bound Micromoog instruction manual
-And a pair of special male and female Cinch Jones to 1/4" cables for the Moog that you will need to trigger the Micromoog from another analog synth or an analog sequencer or to use the Micromoog's Keyboard to trigger another synth.

I have absolutely loved this synth and now it is time for it to go out and have more adventures, I know you will love it too."

Elsita - drum module and Dynacord

via this auction
"ELSITA - a true analog drum module from Russia, which can give You unique sound close to Kraftwerk, early Jean Michelle Jarre and other electronic classics. It's used, though fully operational, equiped with jack inputs compatibile with any triggers.

Not only is it vintage and extraordinary, but also comes with 4 Dynacord vintage drum pads (with jack inputs) - one snare and three toms.

More technical specifitations here: http://ruskeys.net/eng/base/elsita.php

It's powered with European voltage, but of course it will work in USA with a suitable power converter."

Yamaha SHS-200 Keytar

via this auction

"Yamaha SHS-200, a fantastic 1988 Keytar!
Similar to the more common SHS-10 model, but has more keys, more sounds, twin speakers for stereo sound and is just generally more robust."

Spectrasonics updates Omnisphere for Eigenharp!

"Arguably the most important feature of the Eigenharp are the touch3D keys, which respond to pressure, velocity, roll and yaw. Spectrasonics have added new support for the kind of multi-channel midi the Eigenharp can produce - which means you can now indepedently pitch bend, distort and generally mess around with Omnisphere's fantastic sounds in note-by-note polyphonic glory."

My Serge Modular system in a rather wild mood. Daphne is in a transformative state and fiercely so. This is looped and live."

"This is the first live improvisational recording on The Deathlehem Machine #11. I had set up 3 different sequences to switch between as well as a single oscillator droning in the background. It's a short recording at just under 10 minutes for the entire video.
Sequences are built from combinations of:
2 x Music From Outer Space 16 step sequencers
2 x 4015 4 BIT Shift Registers
4 inputs of an 8 BIT R-2R DAC
2 x Attack Decay envelope generators
Various standard modular synthesizer modules burbling away.

The only effect used is the longest reverb that I were able to obtain from my TC Electronics M300 Reverb/Delay effects unit.

I hope you enjoy. :)"
