Roland TB-303 Bassline with Unused Chord Wheel & Case

Includes the original vinyl Roland carry case in excellent condition.
Includes the user manual in good/ok condition
Includes the RARE Roland Chord Wheel in unused condition"

Oberheim OB-8 with Polymod Modification

YouTube Uploaded by songofwhales on Aug 11, 2011

via this auction

"It has been modified to include poly modulation, a feature sorely lacking from the OB-8."

PolyMod Info

"All you need to get the desired effect in the OB-8 is an additional signal path from the VCO2 saw to the filter control node. The OB-8, as well as many other synthesizers, has an opamp that provides a virtual GND summing node for adding separate filter control voltages. For a first test, I connected the saw output of VCO2's CEM3340 with this summing node over a resistor in the 100kOhm range..."

springreverb

YouTube Uploaded by canmarcvancouver on Aug 22, 2011

"We found and dead guitar amp in a field. This one had a spring reverb tank inside. We pulled it out and hooked it up and it sounds awesome. So if you go looking for old junk to make cool sound effects with, an old spring reverb is always a fine choice."

"The synth is an sh101 has the filter closed, 100% keytracking, 100% enveloppe, zero attack, half decay, zero SR. It's a sequence Jesse came up with on the fly so we could test out the reverb.

The signal path is = Sh-101->DI->reverb tank->DI->Focusrite ISA1

We added the DI box (black box in the video) to properly isolate the tank. We used a clean gain stage (focusrite ISA1) because we have it, but it's not necessary. Reverb tanks can be used with super cheap gear and still will be a great effect and there are dead guitar amps everywhere, and they themselves are super clean, but you either need to hit them hard or crank their gain cleanly. Most musicians will hit them with a lot of signal instead and get a lot of signal out them so the high end pre-amp isn't vital. Because they are passive devices you can nail them with a ridiculously loud signal.

This tank also has two small isolation transformers on it, visible in the tank at both ends so we didn't really need our DI box in there. You should always isolate a reverb tank though. Check the tanks you find, they don't always have transformers in them. If not, a stereo DI box is $20, or a pair of audio transformers at the local shop is $5."
