E-mu Emulator 3 keyboard

via this auction

"Yes, this is the 8mb version. Comes with version 2.4.2

For those of you who know, this is most likely the ultimate analog stereo sampler, offering Curtis chips and 16 voices. I have brought it up to todays spec by adding the CF (Cardflash) modification, which allows for up to 100 banks to be stored on a cardflash which is hooked up to the internal SCSI cabling. I unplugged and therefore silenced the noisy internal HD after copying the banks off of it. It is still inside and can be hooked up if you wish. The internal CF mod allows you to still use the SCSI interface on the outside and save/load banks onto the CF, which is much much faster. It boots up quicker than via standard SCSI, it loads/saves faster, and most importantly, its reliable. I have also loaded the CF with about 90 banks of genuine E-MU sounds and samples including pianos, strings, orchestras, rock sounds and a few drum kits. A lot of these banks include the factory sequences as well. I found these on a public website before E-MU went under a few years back. While I was upgrading it, I also changed out the internal fans to silent brushless fans. It is now much quieter than before. I even have several factory manuals that came with it. I will include these if you wish.

All voices pass all tuning tests. All Sample RAM passes multiple tests. Stereo Sampling has been tested. The internal ADC has been tuned and calibrated without problems. The power supply has been calibrated and tested thoroughly to provide good clean 5.05 volts. All faders have been replaced with OEM parts and tested. All individual voice outputs work. The backlite isnt as bright as it could be, but its also not obnoxious. The LCD screen is perfectly fine and adjusts all the way from not visible to completely saturated. The floppy drive still works well, but I only use it to transfer sounds from PC."

Suitcase Studio Improvisation 3

YouTube Uploaded by insanic4 on Sep 1, 2011
"Here is the third improvisation using my suitcase music studio. It was a sunny day here in the Netherlands so lots of natural lighting in this movie. On the Nintendo DSi XL I run the Korg DS-10 and on the iPod touch I run the FM3 Buddha Machine app which combines nicely with the lo-fi sound of the hardware Buddha Machine (that orange box). The DS10 and the Kaossilator are synced the old school way by pressing the play button at the right time (before I started filming). Once they're in sync they stay in sync for a long time.

There is one stupid mistake in this movie but I'm not telling you what it was :)

The suitcase has the following devices:

Korg Kaoss Pad Mini
Korg Kaossilator
Korg Monotron
Korg SR1 Sound on Sound
MFB Nanozwerg
FM3 Buddha Machine
Rolls MX41b
Art PowerMix III
Nintendo DSI XL with Korg DS10
Apple iPod Touch with Line 6 MIDI Mobilizer
MAM Map1

The audio was recorded with the Korg MR-2000S."

Shimmering Juno meets screaming Lambda

YouTube Uploaded by skoulaman on Sep 2, 2011
Yes fokes I am back.
"This music balances between the beautiful dense sound of the Juno and the almost guitar like lambda sound. Its the same with life, sometimes It goes smooth and steady and sometimes we expierence a rimple in the ocean of life.
Technical, the Dark time for the sequence who controls the Q (echoed in triplets) with the midiverb III and the Little phatty echoed with the E1005.
Pads from the Juno and E-piano from the DX27 with a lot of reverb from the mpx100. The lambda is used in combination with the UE400 (distortion and flanger).

Use a pair of headphones ore a good audio for listening.

greetings skoulaman

Thanks Nettie, my dear sister, I miss You."

SNAZZY FX DREAMBOAT DEMO #3

"Another example of what kinds of sounds you can crate with the Dreamboat...the scope is showing an X/Y output of the Dreamboat"

flickr By Analogue Haven

"Here's a photo of the new Dreamboat, actually three Dreamboats, which are now in-stock.

"The dreamboat is a dual chaotic oscillator with 2x cv inputs, a gate output with adjustable threshold, and two sets of x and y outputs. There are two oscillator sections to the module, the top half is an audio rate chaotic oscillator and the lower half outputs lfo rate signals. With its five outputs, the Dreamboat allows you to connect to plenty of modules all at once, allowing all kinds of modulation and listening possibilities."

See our webpage for more details.

The Dreamboat is Snazzy FX's first Eurorack module but several more are already planned."
