Synthesizers

flickr By Sebastian Niedlich (Grabthar)

"Synthesizers through the years as shown in the Technisches Museum in Vienna. There's a Moog and other stuff.

Part of the "Wien 2011" set."

If anyone has any pics of the plaques with the descriptions in front front of the display, send it in.

Update: I'm curious what's the far right rack, the rack to the left of the Moogs and the white and black keyboard to the left of that. I've seen it before and am sure I even posted one on my site before, but I forget what it is. Also I thought that might be a PPG Waveterm in a custom case on the right, but the layout around the screen is off. If anyone knows feel free to comment.

In the middle of beta-testing the DSI Tempest, I decided to knock out a quick movie showing the cool pattern-switching and ribbon controller abilities. Also in this video: MeeBlip and DSI TETR4, and Eventide TimeFactor. Recorded to and mixed from 8-track 1/2" tape."

"This will show some of the ways i'm using this amazing machine. Hopefully it will give you some insight as to its design, workflow, and how it really makes you think differently.
Its inspiring. It sounds like its alive. It sounds like it wants you to make something elese. Something new. Something unlike you've made before."
