Corsynth C101 Overview + FM
YouTube Uploaded by Corsynth on Oct 24, 2011
"Corsynth is an small company from the Northwest of Spain dedicated to manufacture modules for analogue modular synthesizers.
The C101 OTA Lowpass filter is a four pole low pass filter ( 24db/octave ) based on four cascade OTA-stages. The design is similar to the one found in classic synthesizers like Roland System 700, Roland System 100m, Roland SH-1, SH-7, SH-101, Roland Jupiter 8, Jen SX1000 and many more.

Trogotronic m/666 eurorack synth/fx module
"rom manufacturer website:
the plug and perform simplicity of our stand-alone triple six synth has been carefully distilled into eurorack format by hirsute hands.
we designed a single module as powerful as an expensive array of traditional vco/vcf/vca modules patched together. while no compromise to the true spirit of the original circuit was afforded we worked especially hard to make this one of the most compatible eurorack instruments available with a generous array of 9 distinct control voltage inputs:
- two cv ins = frequencies of twin oscillators
- one cv in = threshold (osc. variant/gate/selection/etc.)
- four cv ins = twin amplifiers (distortion/secondary osc.)
- one cv in = new signal shape parameter (filter function)
- one cv in = for output drive parameter
- plus audio input (for unique modulation and triggering).
into the bargain are an additional three new controls, shape-knob & patch-knob / threeway switch, which make our most flexible circuit even more so.
in essence it is quite possible that this one module alone, placed under the control of up to 9 separate sequenced cv channels, could sound like someone slipped a c4 charge into tonto's "expanding headband".
specifications:
eurorack format 14 hp
module depth ~2 inches
peak current draw at 125ma"

"This is the Opera 6 series, which has received as last published version in 1984, the name Kiwi.
6-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer with 2 DCOs and -24dB/Okt one. SSM filters per voice

Sequential Circuits MAX
"If you not familiar with this (they are very rare), it’s very similar to the Sequential Circuits Six-Trak. The circuitry and sound quality is the same, so it’s actually a very powerful synth.

KOMA Elektronik Announce FT201 Vactrol Filter & BD101 Analog Gate / Delay
"KOMA Elektronik announces two brand new effect pedals.BD101 and FT201 now available for order on the KOMA Elektronik website.
Press Release: Berlin based effects manufacturer KOMA Elektronikhas announced the release of the BD101 Analog Gate / Delay and the FT201 Analog Vactrol State Variable Filter / 10 Step Sequencer. KOMA Elektronik is a young musician run company producing handmade analog effect pedals that produce out of the ordinary sounds. All pedals come with a 10 socket CV / audio patch bay and an on board infrared motion controller able to control all CV features on the pedals.
BD101 – Analog Gate / Delay
The BD101 Analog Gate / Delay is an innovative voltage controlled analog delay in combination with a fully adjustable wide frequency range gate. The BD101 is capable of providing bit crushing effects, resonant frequencies, fast shifts between heavy delayed and cranked up sounds and super short pulses, with whatever instrument you want to plug into it. With the on board infrared expression controller the user is able to override / control all the front panel controls by moving their hands or feet over it, which makes the pedal a versatile and powerful tool for use live or in the studio. The BD101 can be used as a standalone pedal, but is also ready to be used in combination with other KOMA Elektronik pedals and, for instance, a (modular) synthesizer through the 10-socket audio and CV patch bay. The on board infrared expression controller can also be used as a standalone feature.
The CV and audio patch bay allows control of Gate Speed, Gate Amount, Delay Time, Delay Feedback and gives the possibility to synchronize the pedal with an external clock signal. It also gives the possibility to make an external effects loop which allows the user to send out the processed feedback signal, run it through other effects and feed it back into the pedal.
Additional features include:
Slide controls for Input Gain and Delay Blend for more control while playing
On board infrared expression controller, can be used as a standalone CV feature
CV control for Gate Speed, Gate Amount, Delay Time and Delay Feedback
CV input for External Clock signals and synchronization with other KOMA Elektronik pedals
CV attenuators on the back of the pedal to fine-tune the CV inputs
Send/Return Insert for external processing of BBD Feedback signals
A wide frequency range Gate / Amplitude Modulation; choose between High, Mid and Low
Multiple Gate shapes; Ramp, Pulse and Sawtooth.
FT201 – Analog Vactrol State Variable Filter / 10 Step SequencerThe FT201 Analog Filter / 10-Step Sequencer is our innovative voltage controlled vactrol state variable filter combined with a 10 step sequencer. The FT201 is capable of providing ultra low and high frequency filter effects which are controllable with the on board infrared expression controller, which allows the user to create filter sweeps by moving their feet or hands over the pedal. The FT201 has 3 different filter outputs: bandpass, low pass and high pass, which all work simultaneously. The cutoff frequency range is very large, between 20 Hz and 20 kHz and because of the vactrols used the sound quality is superb. The 10 Step Sequencer runs through the selected amount of steps (2 – 10 steps) and adds the control voltage to the value set by the Cutoff knob, thus modulating the cutoff frequency in every step.
Just like the BD101, the FT201 can be used as a stand alone pedal, linked to other KOMA Elektronik effect pedals or as a controller for a (modular) synthesizer or other CV receptive electronic instruments. The CV and audio patch bay allows control of the Resonance, Sequencer Reset, Cutoff and gives the user the possibility to synchronize the pedal with an external clock signal.
Additional features include:
Three filter outputs; Bandpass, Low pass and High pass, which all work simultaneously
Slide controls for Input Gain and Resonance for more control while playing
On board infrared expression controller, can be used as a standalone CV feature
CV control for Resonance, Sequencer Reset, Cutoff
CV input for External Clock signals and synchronization with other KOMA Elektronik pedals
CV attenuators on the back of the pedal to fine-tune the CV inputs
Availability and pricing:
The BD101 is available for order from the KOMA Elektronik website for 329,00 EUR incl. 19% VAT (only for EU countries)
The FT201 is available for order from the KOMA Elektronik website for 349,00 EUR incl. 19% VAT (only for EU countries)
Both pedals come with a KOMA power supply and user manual. Shipping is free of charge.

Todd Barton Interviewed on vicmod

Interview on vicmod here.
"Tell us about yourself.
Cut my analog teeth on my friend Doug Leedy’s Buchla Music Easel in the late 70’s. Couldn’t afford a ME so hocked the house and got a Serge Modular Music System in 1979. Remember going to Haight/Ashbury and picking it up from Serge. The only book/manual at the time was Allen Strange’s Electronic Music: Systems, Techniques, and Controls which I ate, drank and slept with..."
