Oberheim Digital Sequencer DS-2. Serial # 017

via this auction

"This is an exceptionally rare and difficult to find Oberheim vintage sequencer which was bought years ago with an Arp 2500 synthesizor. As you can see from the pictures, the serial number is an unbelievably low 017! The body of the device is very clean and in great condition. As you can see it has a copy of the original factory manual..."

EDP Electronic Dream Plant Wasp Synthesiser

via this auction
"I've owned quite a few classic synths like the Minimoog, Oberheim OB-8 and Yamaha CS80, but none of them is quite as extraordinary as the Wasp. Designed in Oxford by Chris Huggett, the Wasp is an early digitally-controlled analogue synth in a unique injection-moulded plastic case

The Wasp looks like a toy, and sounds pretty tinny through the built-in speaker, but plugged into a mixing desk it sounds enormous. The sounds seem to come from nowhere with no background noise. Just huge, clean monstrous synth sounds that you couldn't imagine coming from any other synth

At the heart of the Wasp are two digitally-controlled oscillators and a superb filter. There's a third "control" oscillator for LFO and filter modulation, switchable between random, sine, two sawtooth and square wave shapes. There's also a noise source. There's an envelope shaper for the VCA and one for the filter. The filter is very flexible - both the control oscillator and the envelope generator control the filter via +/- pots

The main oscillators can be switched off and the filter & noise source used to generate wind & noise effects - which it's very good at - or the filter Q can be pushed right up, virtually into oscillation, to generate spooky water drop effects with the control oscillator on random

It's a monophonic synth, in the tradition of the great Mini Moog and, like the Moog, can generate monster bass sounds. The Wasp is cleaner sounding than the Moog and it's also brighter and deeper"

Synergy Vintage Synthesizer

SN 01122

"In the mid 80s cost more than 10.000 US$, it was one of the first digital synths available and is still a beauty too look at and in great condition. The sounds are special and glistening. Think FM synthesis with an edge. Included are four sound cartridges."

ems synthi for parts

via this auction

"great restoration project for any keyboard wizard out there. I have spoken with EMS who will service this model they gave me a 6-8 weeks turnaround window which would be an ideal route for anyone with the desire to have this up and running again. the keyboard is there ..but power cord is gone ...only the lower part of brief case is present . unit powers up gauges respond but functions are not present . all three oscillators are worn and reverb pot needs replacement all matrix patch pins are missing..but EMS sells those as well. there is some service available in the US but the buyer should explore those options to find what is comfortable for them. I received general quote of around 600-800 dollars to fix issues described(from a US based repair person ) ..."

Harvestman 9791 HERTZ DONUT

via this auction

Tons of control. Racked only once, in great shape. Comes with Doepfer power ribbon and four mounting screws. Ships box in a box. Original box included. Also in the box will be five 17inch long 1/8 to 1/8 patch cables.

Harvestman Tyme Sefari Sound of Thunder Delay

via this auction

"Digi delay sound destroyer. Too much to try to describe. So many cool little features that add up to a really big amount of control. Goes from a straight up, clean digital delay to a "circuit bent" sounding, bit crushing, music mangler. You can reverse the sound going thru with a trigger or by hand. . . the list goes on and on. The Sound of Thunder (included) adds more destruction to the mix.

"the tyme sefari is expandable with a series of switches for "circuit bending" the behavior of the module, model 1973a "sound of thunder". these switches short out parts of the data and address busses, resulting in effects just like a modified casio sk-1. the glue logic within the tyme sefari is laid out in a similar way to the sk-1, so the changes in sound are quite similar. however, the front-panel operation of tyme sefari remains predictable when the expansion is active."

The TYME SEFARI will ship, box (original) in a box. Comes with six mounting screws, three 17inch 1/8 to 1/8 patch cables and the 1973a Sound of Thunder expander unit. Doepfer power ribbon and connecting ribbon for the Sound of Thunder to the Tyme Sefari."
