"This rare and beautiful CME VX-6 is a powerful full featured Midi Master Keyboard Controller with an installed soft synth plugin player card. The lovely metallic red aluminum case contains a 61 note keyboard, pitch and mod wheels, ribbon controller, motorized sliders, lots of knobs, switches and pads, a numeric keypad, sequencer transport control buttons, "U-Control" for plugin compatibility with computer software and more plus there is additionally an installed ASX Plugiator synthesizer card by Use Audio.

The ASX Plugiator contains modeled instruments by CreamWare, including B-4000 (a Hammond B3 based model), Minimax (a Minimoog model), Pro-12 (a Prophet 5 model), Vocodizer (a vocodor) and more!

The 9 sliders can act as drawbars for the installed B-400 soft synth or any other parameter or control in all the Plugiator soft synths, as well as your external modules or computer. The sliders are motorized so they can run an automation sequence to provide amazing evolving, moving sounds. This instrument is very unusual and powerful, as well as absolutely lovely to look at and awesome to play.

"It has 6 voice polyphony with full midi control. It has an internal memory and also memory card slot for patch storage. The signal path is analogue but with 2 DCO's per voice (digitally controlled oscillators) so it maintains pitch but retains that fantastic thick and warm analogue sound everyone craves. The 61 note keyboard is comfortable to play and adequately responsive with velocity and aftertouch. One of the slight drawbacks of this synth is programming due to the membrane button matrix and slider. However this one ships with the additional and rare PG-800 controller which enables the user real-time control of all the synth's parameters making composing and playing an infinite joy."

"The Rogue is easy to open and the whole synthesizer is made of two boards, one for the power and the other for the actual synthesis board. The board is well laid out and easy to repair. This is good as I had to change 6 opamps that had been fried by the power supply failure."
