NAMM: Echophon Sounds by Richard Devine, Tom Erbe & Make Noise

Echophon sounds by Richard Devine by makenoise
"Richard uses only the Echophon to process the Roland TR-606 drum machine. All sound bites use same drum pattern. No DAW computer editing or processing is employed. The sounds are created by modulating the Echophon.

The Echophon is the result of a collaboration between Tom Erbe (Soundhack) and Make Noise. The module utilizes Erbe's gorgeous DSP algorithms on hardware developed by Make Noise.

The Echophon flips the script on the 20 year trend of software synthesis emulating classic analog hardware putting the powers of a true DSP coding genius into the analog modular synthesizer.
