"The ET-4 continues where the ET-3 Electro-Theremin left off. The instrument has been updated with new features and the playing interface has been completely redesigned to be more accurate and expressive. Inspired by the Ondes Martenot's au ruban controller, pitch is controlled by moving a finger along a reference keyboard. With dual analog oscillators, the amplitude of each is controlled by an independent pressure sensitive key.
Each oscillator has six different waveforms, including the classic sine wave of the Electro-Theremin and the Ondes Martenot's octiviant and white noise settings. A low-pass filter with variable cutoff frequency is used to shape the sound, which can be controlled with an external expression pedal. A spring reverb unit is built into the ET-4 with a separate output control to allow for 100% "wet" output. A wide range of sounds can be created with the ET-4; from haunting ethereal sounds and deep bass grooves to sci-fi soundscapes and classical voicings.Plugs directly into a guitar or keyboard amplifier and is compatible with most effects and stompboxes. Every ET-4 is hand crafted in Canada."

Ken Stone's modern and improved design of an Arabesque Pattern Generator similar to the classic Serge Analog Shift Register (ASR) article originally published in Synapse years ago.
When clocked, this delightful circuit will sample the incoming analog voltage at each pulse, and sequentially shift the stored voltage progressively down a row of three outputs .
The Psycho Shift-Register can be used for example, to repeat a melody of control voltages around to several successive oscillator voices - Just like a choral group singing repeating melodies in four-part round-robin style.
Thus it is incredibly useful for auto-compositional harmonies as it is, but what sets this version apart is that in this module it is combined with a certain popular quad LFO called The Psycho LFO which is also from the lineage of the Australian Cat Girl Synth system.
You'll just love the fun and melodies coming from this kooky combination of functions in a single module. The ASR and Quad LFO sections can work independently... However when the "Link" switch is thrown,
one of the oscillators acts as a simple clock driving the Analog Shift Register, while the other three are free to create the jumble of control voltages that the register actually shifts!

Also includes 200e USB Firmware Card (costs $150 new, not pictured). Fully functional and in mint shape. Only a couple very very minor imperfections in the cabinet and a couple small scruffs on the corners of the shipping case. See pictures below for more details. These rarely show up for sale used, so don't miss out!
