Jim's Tips & Tricks: Moog Filter CV Glitchy Bass Jam Part 2
YouTube Published on May 12, 2012 by jimmclaren1
"jimmclaren.blogspot.com Please Subscribe!
Part two of a Filter CV exploration I did today - Glitchy Bass Jam!
Plugged M-Audio expression pedal in to the Filter CV input, then my Fender Jazz Bass into the EXT IN. Plugged a dummy plug into the KB GATE input so I wouldn't have to hold a key down to make the EXT IN work. Bass guitar jam with Moog Bass synth as well, the OVERLOAD parameter is high, so it's kind of a glitchy fuzz sound.
Thanks for watching!"
Also added to Part 1.

BugBrand Modular Tracks
Earl of Marchings (May12) by BugBrand
"Part 1 of Modular Molasses -- practice for a technoid live show (18th May 2012 - in London)
This is a coupling of the BugModular with a TR606 (master clock source), Tama Drum Synth, Boss HandClap, TimeFactor delay and Cathedral reverb.
This is live, unedited, rolling reaction -- I begin with a basic idea and see where the setup takes me -- there are some wonderful surprises within."
Modular Molasses (May2012) by BugBrand
"Part 2 of the thick, gloopy, reactive technoid practices (for live in London, 18th May 2012)
This is a coupling of the BugModular with a TR606 (master clock source from c.15minutes in), Tama Drum Synth, Boss HandClap, TimeFactor delay and Cathedral reverb.
Hahahaha, 50 rolling minutes - no definitive structure - the machines and the surprises direct and reform - I am powerless but to bob along."

"Lightly used in home project studio.a three pole diode ladder lowpass filter with voltage controlled resonance.there are two famous 3 pole diode ladder lowpass filters. one of them was in a little silver box of a synthesizer with integrated sequencer that was used to make "acid tracks" and the other one was was in a big suitcase of a synthesizer with a silver faceplate and semi-integrated sequencer that was used to make tracks while on acid. this is the latter. we're not going to name any names here but let's hope we don't have to mention any voltage controlled studios or electronic music studios to establish the lineage of this filter topology.we can't promise this thing will make sea devils appear on your lawn or models of airplanes fly from one side of the stage to the other, crashing into a papier mache sun at the end of your song, so please don't be offended if these things fail to happen while using the filter- presuming you want to own one.this module features a pcb designed by detachment 3 engineering via yves usson.this module is 3.75" deep and requires 14 hp of mounting space.Lightly used in home project studio."
