"Tucked away in a unassuming corner of the Moog Factory is a small room that could easily be described as Santa’s Workshop, of course the more accurate name would be 'Bob’s Workshop.' The Moog Machine Shop houses Bob Moog’s original machining tools, some passed down from his father, and many of which were used to create the original Voyager prototype. If these machines could talk they would have some interesting stories to tell of late night inspiration and musical innovation.

The Machine Shop continues to play a critical role in prototyping and development, every Moog instrument begins it life here, and everything from the Little Phatty to the Minitaur has experienced the touch of Bob’s tools."
