"Chrutil, the guy behind the graphical editor for the AL-1 engine of the Kronos has been busy, and added the ability to edit the Korg Polysix EX engine graphically from a PC http://www.chrutil.com/kronos/ This is great work by an individual, making his efforts available to benefit Kronos owners free of charge."

Moog-Inspired Art Comes to Moogfest 2012

via The Bob Moog Foundation

"Group Art Show of Limited Edition Prints Benefits Bob Moog Foundation, Showcased at Diana Wortham Theatre

The Bob Moog Foundation is happy to announce that SYNTH: A Group Art Show Inspired by Bob Moog, will be back for its third year during Moogfest 2012. The Synth Art Show is a showcase of hand printed, signed, limited-edition, screen prints from some of the top concert poster artists and graphic designers working today. Each artist will contribute their print to be sold at the show in very limited quantities. Curated by artist Justin Helton aka Status Serigraph, the show is a visual tribute to the legacy of Bob Moog. All proceeds from the sales will go to support the Bob Moog Foundation.

SYNTH will be one of many installations that the Bob Moog Foundation is hosting at the Diana Wortham Theatre lobby throughout the weekend."

Roger Linn's Shelved Product Ideas

Pictured:

Top two pics: "LinnDrum Surface, a drumbeat-oriented control surface for use with computer. At right is the same surface built into a Windows-based computer. Note the pressure- and position-sensitive touch sliders that eventually made their way into Tempest. This one was something Dave Smith and I considered on the way to Tempest."

Bottom two: "two drum machine design ideas."

The MetroGnome reminds me of KORG's Monotribe design.  Looking at the top pic of the Tempest with title screen reminds me how I wish all synths had a ridge to rest a tablet device on.
