"This listing is for a vintage Moog Minimoog Model D analog synthesizer, serial number 1476, manufactured in 1972. This is an early Moog Music (Williamsville, NY) model with the following features:

- original "old" oscillator board
- original clear plexiglas Pitch/Mod wheels
- original metal control panel
- original wood case (not refinished)

Recently serviced (past 30 days) by a local tech with 30+ years of synth experience. Oscillators have been calibrated and tuned, all keys/pots/switches tested - five pots replaced (original Allen-Bradley pots included). All keys work as they should - no issues with intermittent contact. Key bushings are original (with exception of one key). Tuning is excellent after 20-30 minutes of warmup. Sound is clean, warm, and quiet...you won't be disappointed!"

HAMMOND NOVACHORD SN 1539

"The introduction of the Hammond Novachord, the world's first polyphonic synthesizer, at the 1939 World's Fair is a major milestone in electronic keyboard musical instrument history. With over 100 vacuum tubes inside, this synthesizer has a thick, harmonically rich sound that you can't get elsewhere. The instrument is incredibly rare (only 500 are said to have ever been made, and who knows how many remain in existence). Commercial sample libraries of this instrument alone cost $300; that's how rare, complex, and musically useful this instrument is!

This Hammond Novachord is in great cosmetic shape for its age, better than all four of the Hammond Novachords we have sold in the past. However, according to the prior owner, the power supply needs to be restored before the Novachord will work properly. It probably won't be a difficult repair. We have not tested it, and are selling it as-is, no returns, because obviously the buyer will need to spend many hours repairing it in order to have it play perfectly..."

syncing the mattson mini modular sq816 sequencer with a daw

Published on Jan 20, 2013 hewstigator·22 videos

"i had to sync my mattson sequencer to my digital audio workstation to start using it on recordings of my band (thenewlines.bandcamp.com), and since the firmware doesn't yet sync over the USB input, i decided to take a quarter note pulse into an envelope follower, and then send that envelope into my sequencer's clock in. seems to work great, and it's a pretty great application for the humble built-in soundcard on my laptop that usually doesn't get any use when i'm recording music. here's a quick demo!"
