"Hello ! another try with minimal equipment, just an experiment and a work on the sound and effects of that style of music from seventies. I used 3 analog pedals effects from Electro-Harmonix :Memory Boy, Small Stone Phase Shifter, Deluxe Electric Mistress ; 4 audio tracks with SH101 (internal sequencer for bass sequence and noises) and 2 audio tracks with the Alesis Fusion 8 hd with Tape Choir (mellotron choir) and Tape Mix Strings (mellotron-like too) ; all re-recorded in live in Presonus Studio One Artist v1.6.5 with audiobox usb interface."

"This is a Revision 2 with the latest V2.0 OS, has the battery holder and a brand new battery installed. This was the last Rev2 unit ever made, another unique thing about this unit is that the tuning is 1 octave lower than most other Revolution units (although the last 100 units were all tuned this way)."

"The Bit 99 is one of the first synthesizers from which traditional knobs and sliders have been banned. The edit method is easy to understand. The Bit 99 can produce a wide variety of sounds but bass sounds are the best. With a polyphony of three notes, instead of six normally, you can have two sounds layered! Possibilities are almost unlimited and if the 99 patches are not enough you can save the data to tape and load it when you want! This synth was used by 808 State but the synth sounds a lot like Orbital's "In-sides" album. A rackmount version was also released, called the Bit-01..."

"The XT is a portable new V-Synth with some spectacular tricks up its sleeve and enough synthesis and audio-processing power to make heads spin. It's fully stocked with a potent array of synthesis types, including the V-Synth's famous Elastic Audio Synthesis engine, plus analog-synth modeling, vocal modeling, and classic D-50 emulation. Add to that a rich lineup of COSM® effects, external audio processing, a touch-sensitive color display, eight universal edit knobs, and you have an instrument that redefines rack/tabletop technology..."

Metasonix KV100 AssBlaster with Animoog on iPad as a MIDI control
Published on May 21, 2013 Ritchie DeCarlo·118 videos
"More experimenting.... All sounds are the KV100. Lots of echo & reverbs added in the mix! 8 tracks recorded into Cubase ONE AT A TIME. Animoog is only being used to control the lead sound. The iPad is not producing any sounds here. The other tracks were created with analog sequencers synced with Cubase."
