"The WMD Multimode Envelope is our take on the classic ADSR. It is a hybrid digital and analog envelope generation module that offers expanded controls, multiple logic modes, and voltage control with the expansion module. This is the most powerful envelope ever designed for eurorack.

Theory of Operation

The Multimode Envelope uses an analog integrator core with digital control over positive and negative slopes. This allows for total control over the envelope shape and logic operation. Since the core is analog, the envelope is smooth and stepless, especially important for slow envelopes.

The nature of the core allows for control over its shape through a feedback mechanism, this design also allows for Voltage Control over each segment and for the entire envelope duration.

The 8 HP Multimode Envelope is small and powerful, easy to integrate into any system that needs a powerful envelope generator. Voltage control was left off so that this envelope can be easily fit into an existing modular system. Add voltage control if desired with the 6HP expansion module.

The Controls

Attack Rate - Determines the speed of the attack. At its lowest (CCW) setting, the attack will be around four minutes. Fastest (CW) is 200µS.

Attack Shape - This affects the rate of attack as the envelope opens. Continuously variable from logarithmic (starts fast and slows) to linear to exponential (starts slowly and speeds up).

Decay Rate - Determines the speed that the envelope will decay down to the sustain level. This has the same time range as Attack and Release.

Decay Shape - This control determines the shape of the decay until the sustain level.

Sustain Level - This controls the breakpoint for the decay segment. When this level is reached (0 t 8 volts), the Envelope will transition from decaying to the mode determined by the Mode knob.

Mode - This knob controls the operation of the Multimode Envelope. Modes are listed below. Turn the knob to the desired mode.

Release Rate - Determines the speed of the release segment. The release segment is from the sustain level down to 0 volts.

Release Shape - This control determines the shape of the release until the 0 volts is reached.

Gate/Trig - This input starts the envelope. How it is handled is dependent on the active mode. When a gate is present, the Gate LED will be lit.

0-8V Out - This is the normal envelope output, it produces voltage from 0 to 8 volts.

+-8V Out / -+8V Out These outputs give full swing envelopes of 16 Volts peak to peak. The -+8V Out is inverted.

Manual - This button allows for manual triggering or gating of the envelope.

Modes of Operation

First, a note about gates and triggers. A gate is an on or off signal that has duration. A trigger is an on or off signal whose duration is ignored.

When the gate turns on, the envelope will run through the specified segments until the gate is released. If the gate goes off at any time, the envelope will immediately jump to the release segment. Gate modes have the ability to sustain, and are applicable to ADSR and ADSAR.

Trigger modes will cause the envelope to run its course every time it is triggered, from start to finish, regardless of the trigger's length. Trigger modes include AR, ADR, and ADAR.

ADSR - This is the classic East Coast envelope shape. Upon a Gate input (key down), the envelope opens, then closes to the sustain level. When the gate is off (key up), the envelope releases to ground. To use as an ASR envelope, turn the Sustain fully CW and Decay will be ignored.

AR - This is the classic West Coast envelope shape. Upon a trigger input, the envelope opens with the Attack control, peaks, and then falls with the release control. It is triggered instead of gated and will not sustain.

ADR - The ADR is a trigger mode that will not sustain. Instead, at the sustain point, Decay transitions instantly to Release, allowing you to change shapes or speeds in the middle of the falling action.

ADSAR - This gate mode attacks, decays and sustains like a normal ADSR. After the gate is released (key up), the envelope will attack again and then release. This gives you an accent on key up.

ADAR - This trigger mode attacks, then decays until reaching the sustain level, then attacks again and releases.

ADSRst - ADSR Step Through mode runs one segment at a time as triggered. This mode causes sustain after each segment runs. After attack, it will sustain at 8 volts. After decay it will hold at the sustain level. After release, the cycle is finished and 0 volts will be output. Each segment must be complete before another trigger is recognized. This mode requires three triggers per cycle.

ADSARst - This is similar to ADSRst, but with a second attack after the decay. This mode requires four triggers per cycle.

ADRcy - This mode will cycle automatically after release is compete. It can be an AR cycling envelope by setting the sustain level to maximum. Decay will transition to Release at the sustain point. A trigger or gate will reset to the attack segment.

ADARcy - This self cycling mode works just like ADRcy, but will attack again from the sustain point after the decay segment. A trigger or gate will reset to the attack segment.

"The WMD Multimode Envelope is our take on the classic ADSR. It is a hybrid digital and analog envelope generation module that offers expanded controls, multiple logic modes, and voltage control with the expansion module. This is the most powerful envelope ever designed for eurorack.

Expansion Controls and I/O

CV Inputs and Attenuator Knobs - These dedicated CV inputs and bipolar attenuators give massive control over the shape of the envelope by allowing each segment to be CV controlled. Bipolar attenuators allow inversion of the source signal. A 12 o'clock position will yield no change from the control voltage. Spin CW for normal operation, CCW for inverted CV control. Each input is calibrated so when set to maximum CW, one volt will double the rate the segment.

EOA, EOD, EOS, EOR - These output triggers go off when the respective segment comes to an end. Useful for triggering other modules for complex timings. Standard trigger length is 10mS. This can be trimmed on the back of the module.

Retrig - This trigger input will cause the envelope to return to the attack segment if the envelope is already in progress. If the envelope is not running (no lights on), retriggers will be ignored.

Hold - Apply a signal to this input to pause/hold the envelope. Use for stepping the envelope or halting motion during complex patches.

ADR TimeScale - This CV input affects the Attack, Decay and Release segments speed equally. The Multimode Envelope is designed so that this input will make each segment track reasonably close to 1V/octave

Reset on Gate - This switch determines whether the envelope will reset to 0 volts when a new trigger or gate is applied if the output is above 0 volts. It does not affect Retrig.

"The M666 truely is a devilish module. It´s a synthesizer voice with twin VCOs but it´s a very experimental and brutal one. It makes a lots of noise and distortion. External audio signals can be fed thru and destroyed by the module as well.

The plug and perform simplicity of our stand-alone Triple Six synth has been carefully distilled into Eurorack format. We designed a single module as powerful as an expensive array of traditional VCO/VCF/VCA modules patched together. While no compromise to the true spirit of the original circuit was afforded we worked especially hard to make this one of the most compatible Eurorack instruments available with a generous array of 9 distinct control voltage inputs:

2 for Twin Oscillators Freq.
1 for Threshold (Osc. Gate/Selection/Etc.)
4 for Twin Amplifiers (FX/2nd Osc.)
1 for Signal Shape parameter (filter)
1 for Output Drive parameter
Two VCOs are accompanied by a dual high gain amplifier and some VCAs inside, as well as a filter and a ring modulator. Soundwise the M666 is somewhere in between a detuned radio, a fierce distortion and a noise generator.

Features

Two Oscillators
Dual High Gain Amplifier
VCAs
Filter
Ring Modulator
3 LED Indicators
9 knobs and 5 switches
Audio input (modulation/filter/etc)"

"Little brother of the double-wide 277 the 177 does in mono what big brother does in stereo. The unique design of the M-series 177 delivers not one but two stages of high-gain (& high voltage) vacuum tube signal path without sonic compromise. Harmonics & Bass-Heavy Compression unique to valve topology are delivered with an economy of “hp” real estate (7.5hp!), meager power supply requirements & cost while maintaining Euro Format CV compatibility.

Yes, “high voltage”—no small task for a euro module. Reason being: even the best euro format power supplies were never intended for providing “B+” (arcane engineer speak denoting High Voltage feed for vacuum tubes). Rather than compromise both the operating specs of the tube & capacity of your modular’s power supply the M Series 277 includes a wall-wart to deliver both High Current & High Voltage to the valves without taxing your rack’s supply. Low voltage / low current circuits patch via included ribbon cable & use only a modest amount of power (see specs for details). 177 provides front & rear jacks for the included supply to facilitate access from outside OR inside your rack (cuts down on added wires getting tangled with patch-cords on the frontside).

Use at the end of a patch: Rich tube harmonics & brawny compressed low-end add warmth to your cold digital effects / signals while reinforcing plastic sounding low voltage analog sound.

Use as overdrive effect: Overdrive effects via CV Drive input is a cinch. Use as external input preamplifier: Gain afforded by the 277 is more than adequate to make even the tiny signal of a guitar or microphone patched straight to the input scream. As a modular synth is more than 1000 times louder you may well wonder what happens when such signal is fed through the 177 with controls all set to “eleven”: brutal distortion!

Features

Warm High Voltage Two-Stage Tube VCA
CV Amplitude Input with Attenuator Knob
CV Drive Input with Attenuator Knob
Ample gain for use as External Input Preamplifier
Zero to +5 volt CV-Range compatible w/most LFOs, Envelopes etc.
Compression with Low-End Enhancement
Warms cold digital effects & low-voltage solid-state signals
Included High-Current Power Supply = low impact on your rack’s “built-in” supply
2 CV Lamps: 1 Blue (Amplitude) / 1 Red (Drive)
Slovakian Max. Gain, Twin-Triode Vacuum Tube run at high-voltage
Small: 7.5 hp x 2.275″ Deep"

"Trogotronic M-Series 277 offers a high-gain Vacuum Tube Stereo VCA without sonic compromise. Tube Harmonics, Bass-Heavy Compression & Stereo Imaging are applied with 2 Discrete High-Voltage VCA Circuits.

Yes: “high voltage”—no small task for a euro module. Reason being: even the best euro format power supplies were never intended for providing “B+” (engineer speak denoting High Voltage feed for vacuum tubes). Rather than compromise both the operating specs of the tubes & capacity of your modular’s power supply the M Series 277 includes a wall-wart to deliver both High Current & High Voltage to the valves without taxing your rack’s supply. Use at the end of a patch: Rich tube harmonics & brawny compressed low-end add warmth to your cold digital effects / signals while reinforcing plastic sounding low voltage analog sound.

Use to portray mono signals as vast stereo audio panoramas: The 2 discrete channels run in parallel add depth to mono signals (patched to both inputs) with organic stereo imaging built into the circuit. The same mono signal can be dynamically panned via CV Amplitude inputs.

Use as a stereo overdrive effect: The Drive CV is discrete (1 for each channel independent of the other) so creation of dynamically panning stereo overdrive effects via CV Drive is a cinch.

Use as external input stereo preamplifier: Gain afforded by the 277 is more than adequate to make even the tiny signal of a guitar or microphone patched straight to the input scream. As a modular synth is more than 1000 times louder you may well wonder what happens when such signal is fed through the 277 with controls all set to “eleven”: brutal distortion!

"A compact valve synth capable of the spectacular analog displays that make high voltage tubes essential for any serious electronic music aficionado.

In rare moments of clarity we’ve long glimpsed a brutish dream burning in the solder smoke: A compact valve synth’ capable of the specular analog displays that make high voltage tubes essential for any serious electronic music aficionado. Now the low hanging fruits of our labors are within reach & truly rotten to the core

Yes: “high voltage”—no small task for a euro module. Reason being: even the best euro format power supplies were never intended for providing “B+” (arcane engineer speak denoting High Voltage feed for vacuum tubes). Rather than compromise both the operating specs of the tube & capacity of your modular’s power supply the M Series 676 ships with it’s own. Simply plug in the included wall-wart, give the tube a few seconds to warm up & voila! Tangled in wires already? We get it, and in addition to the power jack on the face there’s another power tap hidden on the rear of the module should you want to get crafty to keep things clean. The advantage is twofold: no capacity is taken from your existing supply and the vacuum tube employed is a common model in current production (so there is no worry should it require replacement after many years of faithful service).

Like any Trogotronic worth its salt the 676 Fury’s functions are not conservative… Meaning, while there are two Main Oscillators, other parts of the circuit can command more complicated frequencies in an intuitive manner. Similarly the Main Oscillators themselves may be applied as filters serving to broaden the utility of the instrument even more so. With regard to BOTH mayhem AND stability 676 Fury’s switch settings offer different parameter reactions: Toggles “down” Oscillators & Track navigate pitch black F-5 electron turbulence; Switched UP same controls “play nice” in crimson livery with accordance to classical form.

Features

All Analog Circuit
2 Main-Oscillators
2 Amplifiers
2 Unique Filter/FX parameters (Drive & Modulation)
Input for use with other audio elements
5 Modular compatible CV inputs for patchable parameter control
1 Master Frequency Control of Oscillators: Track
3 Stabilizer Switches (on for stability, off for mayhem)
Slovakian Max. Gain, Twin-Triode Vacuum Tube run at high voltage
2013 M676 Is Even Better Than Original

Reduced Depth: More Than One Inch More Clearance
Better CV Compatibility: 0 to +5v w/Discrete Onboard Attenuators
Improved Tracking: Revised Performance Osc. Track Parameter
Refined Layout: Allows Tool-Free Access to Vacuum Tube
Improved Pricing: Quicker Assembly = Nearly $30 Off Original Price"

"SUIKO ST-10 is extremely rare and most strange japanese electronic musical instruments
originally made for japanese traditinal music circa. 1980.

WOW! what a strange and exotic design! built in cool woody case with silver metal control panel
and comes with classy black custom suitcase
left side has digital data cassette deck! and right side has internal speaker
it has built in 2 way early digital sequencer, digital data cassette and internal memory
SUIKO ST-10 is one of the most strange design model from the SUIKO line up.
and it's first time to SUIKO ST-10 put on the ebay listing from my collection
(please check out other SUIKO models from my auction list)

SUIKO ST-10 was very expensive and made very limited quantities those days
originaly made for the very small circle of the people who seriously studying japanese traditional music
and never sold at ordinary musical instruments market
so i'ts very hard to find even in Japan nowadays...
this is your first and last chance to get this vintage oriental electronic instruments!

ST-10 is monophonic instrument and has 2 rows of white square button keyboards
this keyboards specially designed for playing glissando easily like koto(japanese harp)
front row of the keyboard is japanese scale,so just playing randomly you can easily get exotic japanese melody!
three sounds are selectable, shakuhachi(japanese bamboo flute),koto(japanese harp) and pipe organ
sounds are very analog, warm and strange!
there are various switches and knobs for special japanese tuning, sustain, volume, memory controls,etc..
back side panel has AUDIO OUT and AC cable

ST10 has 2 ways of recording memory section, digital data cassette memory and digital internal memory
cassette deck of left side is not a usual analog recorder,it's a digital data recorder
such kind of digital data recorder often used with early personal computer in '80s
but I have not ever seen used in electronic instruments
usage is almost same as a usual cassette recoder
but you can change the sound while playback(e.g. koto to shakuhachi)
because it just records playing data like sequencer
other recording section is a digital internal memory
it's a simple early digital sequencer
you can record your play by realtime or note, timing separately"
