The Millenium Falcon Meeblip by 7heScissorFiend

via 7heScissorFiend on etsy

"This is a build of a monophonic Meeblip Synthesizer It is a custom model which functions exactly like the current version except that it has no patch memory.

It is a full featured MIDI synth, all parameters are assignable to midi CC numbers.
It is powered by a 9v center positive AC adapters like most BOSS pedals.

This means that it has:
2 DCO - 1 DCF - 1 LFO - Distortion - Noise - FM - Portamento - and More!

For simplicity, none of the controls are labeled, however it takes less than a day to get an intimate feel for the controls. A diagram of the knobs and switches can be found in the pictures as well as being very similar to the layout of the stock Meeblip.

And yes, the Antenna Dish IS the cutoff knob. ;)"

See this post for the story behind the OB-Mx.

"Oberheim OB-Mx synthesizer designed by Don Buchla. Version 1.04 software dated 6/20/94; inside the unit it says it was manufactured on 8/3/94. Cosmetically in VG+ shape as depicted with light rack rash and scratching top bottom front sides from having been inserted into and removed from racks. Has three voice cards (I think this means "six voices" because each card has two voices). Everything works! Manual is available on-line. Will be heavy to pack and ship; local pick-up in the Los Angeles, CA area welcome. I know there is a lot of debate about the virtues and deficits of this synth but it always has sounded fine to me, you need to run it through some signal processing (reverb, compression) to get the most out of it."

Roland MKS-80 Analog Poly Synthesizer Module w/MPG-80 Programmer

Note: links to listings are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

MKS-80 is SN 522196

MKS-80s fall somewhere between a Jupiter-6 and Jupiter-8.

"For sale is an early-80’s Roland MKS-80 Super Jupiter 8-voice analog polyphonic synthesizer module with the sought-after MPG-80 programmer, cable, and original sample sound cartridge. If you’ve ever wanted a real Roland Jupiter 8, but can’t swing the $5000+ they draw these days, this is clearly the next best option available. This is evidently a Rev. 5 model, based on the serial number. This does everything the Jupiter 8 can do, with the exception of the arpeggiator and mod wheels, but since it’s MIDI-triggered, it’s possible to do all of those functions via your MIDI controller. These units work great – not perfect cosmetically but very, very good considering they are about 30 years old. A little rack rash, a little paint chipping/scratching, but everything is well intactand works reliably. The volume slider on the MKS-80 unit isn’t too smooth in its operation, but the MPG sliders, which are the important ones anyway, work fine and are not scratchy/intermittent."

TEISCO S-100p Monophonic Synthesizer SN 3725

"Manufactured under license from ARP instruments it is very similar to the pro soloist. In addition it has some great extras and effects (flanger and built in spring reverb) not usually seen on a synth."
