"this is my very first track on those machines. I have programmed all patches in the editor (translating my knowledge from Reaktor 5) except bass. I had all of them them (including Yamaha AW2816) roughly for a few days days so it's a huge triple learning curve. It is gonna take a while to make everything sound nice."

"This Mini-Korg is in outstanding physical and functional condition. Everything works well, all sliders are super-smooth, switches are firm and tight, and it sounds amazing. It does everything from round bass, filtered analog bass, Ladytron-style octave switching, singing vocal or theremin type leads. A really immediate, accessible, and performative synth. I already have a Model D Minimoog and feel like this is the closest I've gotten to that warm sound yet, even more so that the ubiquitous bass stations and other emulations. Certainly it's not as huge sounding as a Model D, but nothing is, but I really feel like Korg was going for that kind of "thing" when they made this. My favorite feature is setting the VCA gate on repeat and playing notes in sort of a live-arpeggiating kindof way. Hard to explain but if you take a listen to some demos online you can hear this."

"Keeping it simple, this is 10 straight minutes of knob turning. Mostly internal modulation between the Primary OSC and the Modulation OSC and jumping between Modulation OSC destinations. Later in the video I plug the output of a Piston Honda into the Mod Bus cv.

Later I'll hook this up to my sequencer for some insane rhythms just off the oscillator. :)"
