"Modified Alesis HR-16 with 24 point LED circuit bending patch grid and master pitch control.

The Diabolical Modified Alesis HR-16 accesses ROM-based bending effects by use of a 24 point patch grid. A single LED patch pin will make a connection and generate one of many bizarre effects and glitches ranging from distorted, filtered and modulated effects, to bizarre sounds and warped drum loops. The LED on the patch pin reacts to ROM data present at that point and puts on a light show.

This modification also includes a master pitch control with bypass switch and LED indicator, which affects all sounds. The patch grid and pitch control in combination can produce some truly unique drum and synth sounds. These are great machines and the HR-16 is loaded with original features. The modification unleashes the evil monster that has been hiding inside since the 80′s.

Diabolical Devices fully refurbishes their modified devices and uses quality parts. Not only do you get fun new features, you get a machine that's more reliable than ever and can still function as a stock unit would.

Comes carefully packed with 4 LED patch pins, basic instructions to get you started, and a repair warranty. Basically if it should fail in the future, just send it back, the unit will be repaired and returned to you no charge (excludes physical damage, mechanical components, misuse, and other unreasonable situations).

"Diabolical Devices Modified Casio SK-1 features Modulated Pitch control and ROM Bending patch-bay. When no modifications are engaged this will act as a stock SK-1. Comes with patch cables and a Diabolical Devices lifetime service warranty.

Modulated pitch control is a bypass-able external clock generator which affects the pitch of all sounds. When the LFO is activated amplitude modulation is achieved by the pulsing CLK signal. Pitch control has a bypass switch, pitch potentiometer, Modulate switch, LFO rate potentiometer and status LEDs.

20 point 1/8" phono patch bay is used to create ROM bending glitches. The results are almost random and range from playable bends to bizarre soundscapes. Patch cables are included.

via the seller: "This ARP Odyssey is the 2nd version, the mark II, Model 2813. This model is of the "black face w/gold lettering" era. It has CV & GATE & TRIGGER inputs. 2 Syncable oscillators, a S & H circuit, resonant filter, external audio input for processing other instruments, 2 envelopes for the VCF and/or VCA or VCO mod. Essential subtractrive analogue synthesis.

NOTE: It has the Kenton Midi Modification that allows a midi based performance controller to trigger notes as well...so if you have a FutureRetro, Sequencer, etc via Midi you can use this as well. This is a 300 pound ($450US) modification plus labor that was paid...so a serious upgrade for a synth lover.

I've also included ONLY for BIN, a roadcase ($135 value) and the chips that are no longer available to do the Filter Mod as well. These go for 50 and 12 pounds respectively (so roughly $95 value).

The ARP Odyssey was big competition for the Minimoog - it's a much more flexible synth so you can get a lot more interesting sounds out of it.

This model is duophonic, so you can play 2 notes at once - each note using one of the 2 oscillators. Or, play it monophonically for a double oscillator layered sound.

The ARP Odyssey's a great synth - it offers some very impressive modulation options, oscillator sync, 2 vcos, sample and hold with selectable inputs and lag, noise source, LFO, great sounding resonant lowpass filter, highpass filter, VCA, ADSR envelope with autotriggering, CV and gate jacks for hookup to externals synths, sequencers or MIDI convertors.

Countless musicians used this model - most famous musicians of the late 70s and early 80s used these alongside their Minimoog and Fender Rhodes or Wurlitzer EPs. Compared to the Minimoog, it can make similar musical sounds but is better for sound effects and deep sounds, thanks to the additional features."
