"Was made in July 1991 by Riga`s Music Instruments Factory (RMIF). Elsita has four independent and identical channels of analog drum synthesis that can produce really fat and original analog drum sounds. You can trigger it from drum pads (triggers) or from any audio out - drum machine, analog output of soundcard etc. As other soviet devices Elsita has it`s own unique character that will be great for any sound design experiments!
Control on the front desk for each channel:
Gain, Tone, Attack, Release, Tone | Noise Balance, Filter, Level.
The general functional buttons:
Mains indicator
Channels 1-2 or 1+2 (switch)
Channels 3-4 or 3+4 (switch)
Metronome (ON, 0-300)
Main Volume"

Oberheim OB1 sound demo

"A sound demo just tweaking the OB1. No extra FX used, recorded straight from the synth in to the camera. Unfortunately the louder parts has some camera dist to it, but I hope you can hear beyond that and hear the real sound.
The OB1 is especially great for fat basses since it has one sub-osc to each oscillator, and both 2-pole and 4-pole filter. But it can also produce some weird sync- or ring modulated sounds. A very good bread'n'butter mono synth.
I have tried to cover most of the features, but I am sure I have missed out some things. But this will at least cover the basics I think."
