"that's right kids...gather round'....
the original CS1x synth (that this morph came from) was in bad shape, there were cracked & missing pieces of plastic, missing and broken keys, almost in non playable condition...
so to avoid throwing away a perfectly good sounding, and functioning synth engine, we Morphed it into this cool table top synth module...just plug in your favorite keyboard or midi controller...awesome!
I have done 3 CS projects like these in the past 5 years, and this one is the best so far.
as you can see its not a factory perfect piece...but it is "supercool" and it was a lot of fun to build. its definitely very unique and fun to look at, and everybody who sees it, absolutely loves it. you may even get inventive and add a set of legs to it, so it stands up next to your keyboard, or further experiment with the outer shell ...or just leave it as it is.
don't worry about the graphics, whenever a button is pressed its function shows in the LCD, the rest is easy to memorize or just look in the manual..."

Make Noise Maths Optomix Thrash ( DPO MMG PRESSURE POINTS BRAINS )
Published on Oct 11, 2013 Paul Johnson·8 videos
"First mess about with the modular since receiving MATHS & OPTOMIX today. Just a bit of fun, some seriously crazy modulations , squeals and screams.
Also used are the DPO, Moddemix, Pressure Points, Brains, MMG, A145 LFO, A160/161 Clock Sequencer/Divider.
The audio is going through a Quadraverb for delay, then recorded into Logic. The video was filmed on my iPad. The audio & the video were then merged using iMovie."

Korg DSS-1 Sampler/Synth Template for MIDI Designer
via MIDI Designer
"This is to program the amazing KORG sleeper sampler synth from the 80's the perennial DSS-1, still to be had under $200! This synth rules, analog VCA, VCF, with samples as OSC's or from cool additive (128 different sine waves!) or handdrawn wavefroms!?!! Amazing CPU/Memory upgrade available makes this into a modern day masterpiece.
Anyhow this layout includes every available sysex and a pitch wheel to smoothly control cutoff. For some reason almost all the sysex are realtime except cutoff, the most important! But the workaround is to set pitchbend interval amount to zero and turn on "Joystick Filter Sweep" which allows cutoff to be controlled via onboard joystick or midi pitchbend signals, so thats why thats there! Also the cutoff knob is glitchy when in use so I made it send on release only.
Everything is on one page except delay setting. This beast has dual digital delays built in and there's second page for all those controls."

Spectralis 2 Fixed Filterbank drums and trigger groups demo
Published on Oct 10, 2013 acemonvw·66 videos
"Only one sample (for strings) was used in this piece. The rest is the
Hybrid Synth, Fixed Filterbank (for drums), and some sequencer lines.
Enjoy :)"
via Michael Dennis Raleigh on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge
"Basically, noise is being passed through different frequencies to create the bass kick, snare, and hi-hats. They might not sound the greatest, but they're not sampled drums. I think it's a neat feature of the spectralis to be able to do this. Further into the song I created a stronger bass kick using the hybrid synth and adding a sequencer-line to detune it in 1 step (so it would go beeoow from a higher note to a lower one, around 4:30 min)."
