Monotrip mods - turn the Monotribe into an acid monster

"The Monotribe is a great little groovebox, but sometimes a bit more power is needed, these mods address that. Please note I have no schematics for this but a small number of pre-built kits are available.

First Midi in and out is added, the Monotribe VCA can be a little clicky, so this is taken care of, then the drum sounds have added switches to give variations on the stock sounds, when the switches are in the middle position stock sounds are still available.

The main enhancement is the additon of another oscillator which is fed from the Monotribe's own VCO, 3 ranges, 2 modes and potentiometers for level and frequency allow a wide array of harmonic and atonal variation, especially great for techno, acid and drone styles.

"Ostinato part is a Modcan Touch Sequencer feeding a MakeNoise Dual Prismatic Oscillator (no filters or VCA's!), with an LFO slowly modulating the FM index, and a row of the sequencer modulating the Fold amount on the B oscillator.

Drums are not sync'ed to the sequencer. I tap-tempo'd the ER-1 drum machine to match as best as possible.

Bass is MicroX, lead is MicroKorg."
