In beginning of 2013 I was able to film one of the few occasions Siggi at work.

The Challenge
We want your take on the background sound of Los Angeles 2019 to use on the Moments Lost record. The automated environment with bleeps, servo motors and hovercraft passing by, or maybe the sound of an android factory working 24/7 to provide workers for the off-world colonies - the choice is yours, go wild! The winner will be featured on one of the tracks and published on cd, vinyl, picture vinyl and digital download.

How?
Patch up your modular and record. Make a video or/and snap a photo of the modular setup.

Rules
- Modular hardware synthesizers only. No software allowed.
- You can use effects for your public presentation, but please also record a version without reverb. This is very important.
- Record in 44.1 khz/24 bit
- Live tweaking is allowed
- Multitracking is not allowed
- photo and/or video of patch required.
- Only new, never before unpublished material accepted.

"A very basic test of the excellent MIDI Designer app on Ipad with the Roland JD990 editor Template I created for it. Latency seems almost non existent with WiFi (really) and it is pretty easy to use the template to quickly create patches. Although the video is cut, it was only trimmed to get to the point."

"Comes with all original accessories, including the cables.

Moog Liberation is super rare. This particular one comes with all original accessories, including one key-tar, one interface/power supply, one long six-pin cable, one original CV cable and one original S-Trigger cable.

Goods: It plays and sounds great. The oscillators are stable and the outputs are very clean. All the sliders and knobs work smoothly. The ribbon controller on the neck plays like a dream. The keyboard aftertouch works precisely with any assigned modulation.

Bads: The filter control wheel on the neck is bad (but all the filter control is still accessible from sliders). It need to be repaired or replaced. There is a crack on the neck and it has been tape-fixed by the previous owner long time ago. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURE! It seems to be very sturdy and it never bothered me. The CV and S-Trigger output on the control/power unit may need some repair. They have not been tested. Three key contacts need a slightly harder trigger. May need some clean work..."
