Published on Apr 13, 2014 Autotross·10 videos
"My first endeavor with the OP-1, I haven't had this much fun making music in years! I started out making an 8-bit drum kit, and ended up with this here tune.
Oh yeah, and thanks to Cuckoo for the the synth patches and general inspiration."

Improvisation 1973
Published on Apr 13, 2014 mcmike100·24 videos
"This is an improvisation I recorded in early 1973 with a piano and modular Moog synthesizer. The video graphics were created with Vovoid's VSXu software, set on one pattern."
via Michael McRoberts on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge: "I didn't have a multitrack recorder then, so this was recorded using sound-on-sound on a stereo recorder, where you bounce back and forth. And, of course, all played live."
This is pretty amazing. Realize the only synth manufacturers in the US at the time were Moog, Buchla, Arp and EML. Serge formed in 1974 and Oberheim formed in 1969 had not yet released his 1st synth, the SEM, which came out in 1974. Japan had Roland, Korg and Yamaha. Roland's SH-3 & SH-1000 came out in 1973 (list of Roland products on Wikipedia). The MiniKORG came out in 1973 (list of Korg products on Wikipedia). Yamaha's first synth the GX-1 came out in 1973 (list of Yamaha products on Wikipedia).
