Korg Volca Bass Hack / Mod - Distortion Knob & VCO Level Knob!
Published on May 14, 2014 Darren Glen·24 videos
"here I demonstrate some of my mods for the Korg Volca Bass, adding a distortion /drive knob which kicks the Volca Bass into an angry growling silver beast, and a VCO Level mod to be able to individually control the level of the VCOs (the original Volca Bass only has VCO on or off option)."

Death By Audio 'Ghost Delay' & Boss DR-55 'Dr Rhythm' by DreamsOfWires
Published on May 14, 2014 DreamsOfWires·27 videos
"Death By Audio's Ghost Delay pedal - I was just experimenting to see how the sound would affect the DR-55, so no 'music', just messing about. I shortened the original video, but I saved the section at the end where I cut the volume of the DR-55 and forced the pedal into self-oscillation.
The video was recorded in semi-darkness because I'm allergic to light bulbs and post-production. But... that's how I like it.
Camera used: Panasonic Lumix GH2 (hacked) with Olympus 45mm f1.8."
Airwave Pong Style!

"Like: 'Wave your hands in the air and pong it like you just don't care!'
This is a small experiment to use visual input as source for music and audio manipulation. All "instruments" run in a browser and use motion graphics or webcam input to trigger midi events.

Schippmann CS-8 VCF-02 Multimode Filter
Published on May 13, 2014 bigcitymusic·337 videos
"In Part 1 of the video (00:00) we are running a series of chords from an Analogue Systems rs370 Polyphonic Harmonic Generator sequenced via MIDI through the Schippmann CS-8 VCF-02 while experimenting with filter combination settings accessible by toggling the Slope buttons on the VCF-02 front panel. Cutoff modulation is coming from the Cwejman PH-4 and manual tweaking.
In Part 2 (00:35) we are using the same rs370 patch with +20dB of drive on the VCF-02 input to add some distortion and harmonic flavor to the patch. Cutoff modulation is coming from the Cwejman PH-4 and manual tweaking.
In Part 3 of the video (01:21) we are using the Analogue Systems rs370 with the rs375 Expander Module in analogue realtime mode. The Cwejman D-LFO is Frequency Modulating the CV1 (Cutoff) parameter while the Cwejman PH-4 is modulating CV2 (Cutoff) of the Schippmann VCF-02 filter."
