Enjoy !"

TC-Data Released

TC-Data with PPG WaveMapper Published on Jun 15, 2014 BitShapeSoftware·11 videos

Follow-up to this post.

"A short performance of TC-Data connected to PPG WaveMapper. WaveMapper's great support for poly aftertouch opens up lots of possibilities for different styles of control!"

iTunes: TC-Data - Bit Shape | WaveMapper - Wolfgang Palm

"TC-Data is a MIDI and OSC (Open Sound Control) controller that sends messages to other apps and hardware. The app has over 300 multi-touch and device motion controllers and triggers which can be assigned to any MIDI or OSC message output. TC-Data is not a synthesizer, but it is designed to control them, plus any other MIDI or OSC software.

With TC-Data, you create your own interface to send the gestures and touch motions you choose. There are no sliders, knobs, or buttons. TC-Data directly connects your touch movements to the outputs you program.

Create MIDI notes, CC, pitch bend, patch change, and aftertouch messages with totally unique multi-touch controllers. Or send values directly to your program of choice via OSC, where you can build your own project using TC-Data as the front-end.

Features
• Inter-app control via CoreMIDI
• OSC over Wi-Fi
• Support for external MIDI interfaces
• MIDI input passthrough
• Virtual MIDI output
• MIDI over Bluetooth via 3rd party apps
• Fully assignable touch controllers
• Gyroscope and accelerometer motion control
• 300+ controllers and triggers

TC-Data is based on TC-11, an all-in-one multi-touch synthesizer. TC-Data takes the multi-touch controllers from TC-11 and opens them up to any external software. Add multi-touch gestural control to your next project with TC-Data."

Dual Retro 158 Buchla DIY

Published on Jun 15, 2014 djangosfire·199 videos

"Just finished and calibrated a pair of custom made "retro 158" Buchla format dual VCO's.

Usually I'll post examples of extreme FM cross-mod sounds (these oscillators excel at FM)..... but they also just have a HUGE vintage analog tone - super fat sounds are also a trait of theses modules :)

Cheers!
- Adam

PS - these 158's are for Paul and Ulf :)"

Arp Tweaking 2: Roland SH-1 analogue/analog synthesizer (dreamsofwires)

Published on Jun 15, 2014 DreamsOfWires·32 videos

"Part 2 of my old arp-tweaking recordings, although this one is actually a step-sequencer pattern, but the same idea. I used the excellent Mutable Instruments Midipal for the pattern (it has an SH101-style step sequencer function). Of all the analogues I've had/used the Roland SH-1 is definitely my favourite in terms of sound, followed my the Micromoog.
This is an old recording and I can't remember what how/what I recorded it with, sorry. There's no video because I didn't have one at the time, and it'd be rather boring to watch anyway.

Roland System 100 (1976): 4 Demos with S&H, VCO-sync, RingMod

Published on Jun 15, 2014 Roberto Raineri-Seith·43 videos

"4 short demos showcasing the possibilities of the amazing Sample & Hold section of the Roland System 100 in combination with VCO-sync and ringmodulation effects. The 102 expander is always on the left and the 101 unit on the right channel. No sequencer used, delay and reverd added. (Note: the 2 red potentiometers are a mod adding octave selection over 5 octaves)."
