Drumfire DF-2000 - Rare Vintage Analog Drum Synthesizer & Matching Drum Kit

"Fitst off it is really rare to find these unit's & especially with the matching Drumfire drum kit. A rare electronic drum synthesizer made in Japan in the 80's. This 2-channel unit is considered to be the best sounding and most versatile of the vintage synth drum machines.
Quite a range of sounds can be made as you can see by all the various editable parameters, each channel has 2 oscillators with adjustable decay for each, pitch, sweep, and a waveshape control. That can be mixed with a noise generator with filter, adjustable decay, and amount. Plus, a button to engage a click sound. It can make all the sounds that the DF-500 unit can and more as the 500 only has 1 oscillator and does not have variable waveshape or noise filter.
A very nice feature is that a user preset can be programmed for each channel. This is done with the small black plastic shaft pots to the right of the colored knobs for each parameter. They are used to adjust the respective parameter, just like the bigger 'manual' pot, and when the button is pressed for preset, those are the sounds settings. Basically, you can switch between two sounds - "Manual" based on the settings of the big knobs, and "Preset" based on the settings of the little black ones.
This unit can pretty much sound like a Simmons, Tama Techstar, and more. You can get sub bass, 808/909-ish kicks, toms, snares, space drums, bleeps & fx, and cymbal type sounds with the noise generator."

"THIS A KORG DW8000 ANALOG SYNTHESIZER MANUFACTURED IN 1985. IT HAS TWO DIGITAL OSCILLATORS FOR TUNING STABILITY. THESE OSCILLATORS OFFER YOU 16 DIFFERENT WAVEFORMS EACH TO CHOOSE FROM INSTEAD IF THE USUAL SAW, SINE, SQUARE & TRIANGLE ON OTHER ANALOG SYNTHS. THE FILTER IS ALL ANALOG. YOU CAN SEE ALL THE ELECTRONICS INSIDE THE DW8000 FROM THE PICTURES I UPLOADED. THE KEYBOARD HAS A QUALITY FEEL THAT WAS LOST ON ALL LATER KORG SYNTHS. IT IS EQUIPED WITH MIDI IN, OUT & THRU AND FULL SYSTEM EXCLUSIVE FUNCTIONS FOR EXTERNAL EDITING AND PATCH SAVING, GOOD FEATURES FOR 1985 ! IT ALSO HAS A DIGITAL DELAY BUILT IN TO FATTEN UP THE SOUNDS FURTHER..."

"Synth strings patch that I programmed with DSI Prophet 12. The sound uses only 1 layer, no unison, all mod matrix slots in use. The idea was to emulate kind of broken strings with some tape / vinyl or "belt-drive" disturbances. The stronger you play, the more broken the sound gets. No pitchbend wheel was used during playing. The keys are from Aly & Fila remix of Tarja Turunen's song, of which name I do not remember right now."

Moog Liberation Synthesizer w/ Custom Box and Case

"You're looking at a special item right here. This is an original 1979 Moog Liberation synthesizer. This thing sounds amazing. HUGE Moog monosynth bass and leads, and wild SFX potential.
This synth was known as Moog's keytar synth. However, this one no longer has the keytar attachment. Instead, this synth was built into a wooden box with the synth on top, the keytar's expression control panel in front of the synth, and an amp built into the box. This box rolls with wheels installed on the bottom, and it has a latching top that can be hooked on, making it the ideal old school Moog for the traveling musician. (I will add a photo of this soon. The top completely covers everything.) There are amp controls on the front panel. This is much more of a traditional keyboard player's instrument.
This synth has a few issues, as to be expected of anything of this age. I was told when I bought it that oscillator 2 doesn't work properly. It seems to make sound appropriately when it is solo'd, and as you know about this synth if you're reading this, its interesting feature was that the two oscillators mixed to make a unique waveshape. I don't know if they mix properly or not, I am not an expert about these instruments. Some of the sliders stick in their top and bottom positions and can be hard to move. The envelope generation seems to be a bit slow. I have had trouble generating envelopes with fast attack, that could either be related to the switches, some settings I have wrong, or something else. The LFO is also a bit wonky."
