Pittsburgh Oscillator & Low-Gain Electronics Submix demo

Published on Aug 24, 2014 bigcitymusic

"The Pittsburgh LFO2 is being used to clock the Melody Mill and Sequencer module. The Melody mill is sending an arpeggiation to the Pittsburgh Oscillator. The SIN, TRI, SAW and SQR outputs of the Pittsburgh oscillator have been routed into subgroups A and B of the Low-Gain Electronics Submix module."

"Suggested starter systems for Eurorack modular!

THE PLAYER - This crazy system is housed in Pittsburgh Modular's rugged Move [104] case for easy portability and with the Melody Mill's on-board keyboard - it's super playable. You'll be using the Melody Mill's 1V/Oct output to control Waveform's frequency and it's Gate or Trigger out to trigger the Dual ADSR, which will be sending envelopes out to the modDemix and MMG. The Toolbox is there for slew, white noise and sample & hold, while the ECHO provides delay and Rosie keeps the mix sounding great. Oh, and the Melody Mill's sequence recorder is killer!

"Up for sale is a (1) rare Moog Sonic Six synthesizer. It's just been serviced and in good working condition now (invoice of the service included in the sale). Optical it's in nice condition for its age. All the knobs and sliders are original, the front panel is almost mint, the keyboard is in good condition. There are a few scratches on the case, but inside it's in near mint condition (see photo's). It comes with its original brochure, printed in 1972. It's a switchable 115 / 230V version."

Buchla 255 Control Voltage Processor

"This is the no longer manufactured 255 Control Voltage Module. It is in working order and can add lag to 8 different signals as well as perform a Buchla voltage range invert and scale. The original intended use seems to have been to provide processed voltages for a 296 module but it's utility nature can be used in for CV processing throughout the system.

The Model 255 Voltage Processor is an eight channel lag processor, in which each output voltage is a scaled and (optionally) inverted replica of the corresponding input voltage. Additionally a delay time can be inserted that is variable from .01 seconds to 10 seconds. This delay is separately controllable for positive and negative excursions.

Note that the 255 is a specialty item; it is not an e series module, and consequently cannot stash its current state as a preset."

YAMAHA TX802 FM TONE GENERATOR SN NX02411

"Despite its name, the TX802 FM Tone Generator is basically a rack-module version of the DX7mkII with full 8-part multi-timbral operation for sequencing and/or key mapping. It has 16-voices of polyphony and six digital FM Operators, the same as in the DX7mkII. There are 128 preset and 64 user patches for your sounds, as well as an external memory cartridge slot.

As if the large keyboard DX versions weren't difficult enough to program, the TX802's limited interface makes editing and programming your own sounds next to impossible without the help of external hardware or software editors. In the late 1980's, the TX802 was an excellent way to get a compact box full of Yamaha's DX sounds."

"This listing is for an old FM synthesizer made at 1987 by Korg.

A interesting model that has D-8 engine with cheap toy sounds.

Also you would play by stand position cause very light weight and has strap pins to the body like ROLAND SH101.

This sound was used by a famous techno producer Juan Atkins."
