"People often ask me, "Tom, what was the favorite one of your synthesizers from before?" And my answer is always, " The Two Voice" ~Tom Oberheim

Own a VERY RARE piece of synthesizer history! One of the 1st synths capable of playing more that one note at a time, and expandable to play up to 8!

In 1974 Tom Oberheim developed the SEM, the Synthesizer Expansion Module, It was designed to be a voice expansion for the MiniMoog. Later that year he put 2 SEM's together, and added Keys, and Oberheims 1st complete synthesizer was born! THIS IS SERIAL #0081 It also includes the Mini Sequencer expansion! I have spent a lot of money having this painstakingly professionally restored, its 100% functional there are no dirty pots, sticky keys, all parameter changes are smooth and instant, it is perfectly tuned, and stays in tune. I have all the manuals, schematics for each and every component, and a detailed parts list. Besides a couple dings on the built in flight case, it is in near perfect condition, inside and out! And i think the dings in the case can be repaired cheap. for something 40 years and 10 months old, i honestly don't think you could even hope to get something in better condition unless it was never opened or used, and even then a lot of internal components would need to be replaced. Also on the rear there are `some inputs and outputs, to control voice expansions among other things, but also a added feature has been built into this one, output 1, and 2. so you can sent each voice to wherever you want. this was also installed professionally, and uses unused ports, so not only does it work perfectly, it looks professional as well, and without doing anything to damage or take away value from this historic synth! With the added Mini Sequencer you can use 1 voice solely for the sequencer, while you play the other, or vise versa, or send them both to the sequencer, or one to the famous oberheim sample and hold feature!"

"Can be used just like an odyssey via the cv gate and trigger inputs. Sounds huge! All sliders are clean and move freely, no crackles. Beautiful ARP tone can be delicate or flat out aggressive, best oscillator sync sound ever!"

Roland Juno-60 Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer | HQ AUDIO DEMO | CUSTOM PATCHES

Published on Nov 2, 2014 Parker Tichko

"What sounds can you make with a Roland Juno-60 polyphonic analog synthesizer?

Here is a collection of custom patches that I programmed into my Roland Juno-60. The demo includes basses, strings, pads, arpeggios, and more. I recorded these patches dry into Ableton Live, and then used Ableton's Large Space Chorus reverb preset to add some ambiance. (Ableton's reverb sounds great on synths.) No other processing was done. All parts were played by myself; no DCB-MIDI conversion was used."

Super Rare Clear Gleeman Pentaphonic Synthesizer

Here's something you don't see every day.  Although the description states anywhere between 30 and 50 were made, previous accounts state 50 solid black and only 20 clear were made.

"This is a genuine Gleeman Pentaphonic clear synthesizer. I acquired this in 1986 from the original owner. It has spent most of the last 28 years in its case. I did not gig with it. Its been in a smoke free environment. The clear synth case as well as the keys are in excellent condition with no cracks or deep scratches. Everything works. I’ve checked every switch and knob and all are working.

It has been repaired twice. Once in 2008. The red light would come on but no sound. A guy that has experience working with high-end vintage synths repaired it. He said most of its problems were there because it hadn’t been used in almost 2 decades. After playing it and using it for recording I put it back in the case for 6 more years. In 2014 I again got it out and it would power up but I was not able to hear my patches. Again I sent it to the same repairman and again it had some minor issues from not being used for 6 more years plus maybe a little user error. It is now in 100% working order.

For those that don’t know…this is an extremely rare synth. Estimates vary but maybe as few as 30 and maybe as many as 50 of these were made [see above]. The original flight case is included. It is missing a handle and also its interior foam. I’ve been using cloth towels inside the case for padding. The flight case does have an aged look. It will come with a reprint of the original manual as well as a couple of Gleeman advertisements. It will ship FedEx well packed."
