"German-born musician/composer Carolina Eyck is one of the world's foremost theremin virtuosi. She literally wrote the book on playing the instrument. For her American recording debut, Improvisations for Theremin and Piano, Carolina and her collaborators at Butterscotch Records conceived a project that would capture the musical intuition between Eyck and pianist Christopher Tarnow in a wholly improvisational, candid and unedited recording.

Today, Moog Music is proud to premiere the first video from Improvisations, 10,000 Bells, which showcases a moment or pure creation from Carolina Eyck's Moog Etherwave Pro and Christopher Tarnow's piano"

"This auction is for an ARP Odyssey model 2800 in very good condition that has been recently restored to ARP factory specs by Phil Cirocco at CMS / Discrete Synthesizers. It features the Lumina slider upgrade (special 4 color edition), just in time to brighten up the under-tree display on Christmas morning! Here is the complete List: Lumina Slider Upgrade - special 4 color edition – see photos 34 high quality illuminated slide pots. The main focus of this upgrade is to install high quality sliders in an ARP Odyssey. The Odyssey and Avatar have similar circuitry to the 2600, however they used cheap, unreliable, plastic on plastic sliders. These brand new, high quality sliders from CMS feature a superior tactile feel and greatly improved accuracy. It basically transforms an unreliable old doorstop into a precision instrument, on par with the ARP 2600 and ARP 2500. The difference in reliability and accuracy is astonishing! The upgrade also features a blinking LFO slider indicating the LFO rate. The ADSR and AR sliders now feature dynamic LED readout of the envelope generator voltage levels. All Keyboard rubber bushings replaced with new and keyboard detailing. All key contacts cleaned and adjusted. Power supply rebuilt to factory. Separate power supply for slider LEDs. Audio Path Upgrade. Highpass filter bypass switch – Adds sub-bass to the output signal. LFO free run switch. ADSR time range switch – 3 position toggle features extra long time mode. "Tula's factory of musical instruments "Melodiya". Tom - 1501 is an EMI, that has an orchestral effect. This portable instrument is intended for solo playing musical compositions of any genre. It is also can be successfully used in ensembles. Tom - 1501 is a one-manual keyboard instrument that can play the following soundings: piano, clavesin, orchestrall ensemble, viola, contrabass and wind instruments.

The instrument consists of the following sections:

· assigning generator
· 12 manipulators
· generator of infralow frequency
· delay line
· brass filter
· block of filters
· output amp
· power block
· volume pedal
· sustain pedal

The only thing that forms all the tones is the main generator. That's why a possibility of instrument's detuning in the process of operation is eliminated. The basis of timbres formation of the instrument is a synthesis of 6 registers on the left side of the keyboard and 5 registers on the right one. Tom - 1501 gives one a possibility to change sounding during playing the composition using such special effects as vibrato, sustain, chorus.

via the seller: "Vintage ARP 2810 Odyssey MKII with 4035 "moog" filter and factory CV and audio jacks. 4035 filter. This is one of the earliest odyssey II synthesizers. This is truly rare. As-far-as collectable synthesizers go this is one of the big ones. It was produced in a time when ARP was changing the design of the odyssey rapidly. It is an early enough MKII model to have the 4035 filter but late enough to have factory CV jacks. I believe there to be only a few made in this configuration.

The condition on this synthesizer is very good. It has a few minor cosmetic blemishes as is normal on a vintage insturment. Great vintage instrument ready for any serious collection.

This item has undergone a recent full restoration. This is an amazing example of how good a vintage odyssey can be when given the proper service treatment. This synthesizer scales and plays beautifully and is a really strong runner. It was given the full service treatment including: cleaning and rebuilding all sliders, the keyboard has been cleaned and re-bushed, the vintage power supply was rebuilt to original specification using the vintage PCB and Transformer. Some of the capacitors that are known to fail have been replaced along with a couple other preventive maintenance tasks. This keyboard is a masterpiece. Also, the LFO free run option was added to the noise select switch. When that switch is up (on white noise) the lfo will not retrigger with every key press. This nondestructive modification can be reversed. I'm happy to answer any and all questions about the service this odyssey has received.

The filter module is all original. It sounds great. Lots of character with that classic liquid transistor ladder filtered sound.

This item is warrantied. All work on this odyssey is covered for one year from date of purchase. This warranty doesn't cover work done by anyone else or any shipping cost to return the synthesizer for warranty service."
