"I bought a new VCO, the Mos-Lab Kobol Oscillator. What a great VCO, awesome hardware quality and sound. Here is a demo where I use the Synthesizers.com Q960 sequencer to control pitch and waveform modulation of the VCO.
The VCO is patched into the Corsynth C101 OTA VCF which is patched into the synthesizers.com Q107 State Variable Filter.

I’m using the high pass output of the Q107 and it is controlled by a third envelope which is triggered by the first step of the Q960."

"Feb 23, 2015. The design for the next round of 6u Modular synthesizers has changed a little bit. I am doing round corners, and added a slope on the desktop case. These changes added to my fabrication costs, and I reflected those costs on the new price. The good news is it is still a very competitive price.
You can have your cake and eat it too. I give you modules to get started and you have enough space for those modules you have been planning to get. You are not going to find another manufacturer to give you both for this price.
*The case is made of aerospace grade aluminum. It looks better in person. It reminds me of Terminator.

*All the blue lantern modules installed are recent 2015 made versions. Most of those have the matt black panel.

*This sale includes a 24v Adapter to power it up. The IEC cord can be exchanged with your countries IEC cord, the adapter is auto outlet converting for world wide use(110v -220v). I include the USA IEC cord.
*This sale also includes (20) patch cable to get you started with a plug and play experience.

"The FXDf is a 6 Band Fixed Filter. Traditionally fixed filters are large modules having 8 to 10 bands, each with a manual level control, but rarely any voltage control. The FXDf is so small we had to abbreviate the words Fixed Filter and by providing individual outputs as well as a header for normalled connection to our RxMx 6 channel macro-lowpass-gate module, voltage control over level of each band is possible through patching. In the past the Serge System Fixed Filter used 6db/ Octave filters while the Moog Modular used 12db/ Octave filters. We liked the sound of both filter slopes, so we implemented a way to use either or both simultaneously. In this way the FXDf also allows for blending of two audio signals. We selected 6 bands we found to produce the most sonic energy in typical Make Noise system patches and also took care to space them wide enough that each of the bands could be distinct from the others. This makes for quite an impactful sound when independently modulating the amplitudes of the 6 bands using the RxMx or VCAs.
