Welcome to SR388! This is one of the few melodic pieces from Metroid II: Return of Samus. That's not to say I don't love all of the music and sound in this game.

Instruments/Sounds:
Fender P-Bass (Bass)
Fender Strat (Rhythm, Chords, Harmony Line)
DSI MoPho (Leads, Arpeggios, Fills, Bass, Pad)
DSI Tempest (Drums & Percussion)
MS2000 (Pad)
TX81Z (NOT PICTURED; Pad- Performed on MS2000 via MIDI)
Rhodes Electric Piano (Arpeggios)
Epiphone Acoustic Guitar (Fills, Polyrhythmic line)
Eurorack Modular Synthesizer (Rhythmic but Melodically Random Karplus-Strong Synthesis, Noise [Robot Sounds!])
Tambourine
Metallic Weights (NOT PICTURED; Metallic Sound)

"Two identic very warm and phat oscillators which recalls the Oberheim Xpander and Minimoog Voyager (with filter fully open). The internal pre-patched frequency modulation is also very nice, just turn the control and enjoy the brilliant sound without patching.

The circuit is identical to the first VCO of the Cwejman S1 so you can use the module as an LFO, too. Additionally there´s a pre-patched hi-quality ring modulator which you can also use with externals signals of course. Each VCO has a positive and inverted output which provides only one waveform at the same time but 7 different waveforms are available, three of which (!) feature pulse width modulation. Penko´s tipp: Set both VCOs to pulse or mixed-pulse and make only the 2nd VCO audible. Then slowly turn up the FM-Level control on VCO2 and play with the PWM controls... that´s fun. Depending on the setting of frequencies or intervals very expressive sounds can occur. This new version now features switchable internal pitch-CV connection via the buss. Generally all Cwejman modules are shielded from interferences and contain lots of calibration possibilities on the backside, see picture."

I literally grew up right across the street from there.  Bizarre to think that case was likely made while I road my bike around the neighborhood as a kid.

Ambient Exploration 005 - Perfourmer PPG wave

Published on May 15, 2015 Fading Canvas

"Live improvisation, having fun doing a chill-out tune. Arturia Beatstep is sending a simple sequence to the Vermona Perfourmer. 2 loops are recorded playing a PPG Wave VST plugin. A few Max4live LFO's are doing extra modulation on the pad sound (which causes some stepping)."

"Demo of SCI Prophet VS Rack played and edited realtime thru reverb and delay. All the stereo-effects panning etc. are coming from Prophet.

Also included pictures of Prophet and old studio."
