BTW, I decided to create a "Famous Synths" label channel for these. If you spot any in the archives leave a comment and I'll add the label to the post. 10 years late on the label, but might as well start somewhere. :)
"So here is a beautiful condition cosmetically Arp Omni 2 from Hannett's personal synth cache and in particular his collection of Omni 2s found in the Hannett cache during the making of the documentary on him.
It is in a full flight case and a lot of the keyboard and button functions work but it could do with a service.
This is a real piece of history as Hannett's synths and or ideas he worked out on his synths were used on so many records that he produced.Joy Division, John Cooper Clarke, U2, Stone roses, Magazine, Happy Mondays, New Order.
This is the man who pioneered the use of synths and echo/delay on punk and post punk records.
Comes with confirmation of provenance from the Hannett collection.
Will ship anywhere in the world
this will only increase in value like all Hannett's other synths"
“descibed as for parts or not working but it does operate a lot of functions and is in beautiful cosmetic condition- just needs a service and this is one of Hannett's Omni 2 collection”
* Each Rotary Wheel has 6 bend points on a 12 point rotation (6x on and 6x off positions).
So as you rotate the switch clockwise: 12noon = off, 1pm = bend point 1, 2pm = off, 3pm = bend point 2, 4pm = off, 5pm = bend point 3 etc etc..)
For use with MIDI controller / sequencer.
Orchestral voices, drum and rhythm styles, sync start/stop, intro/ending/fill. The arranger will add accompaniment and harmony to your melody and chord progressions, with individual volume control over every tone parameter.

In regard to circuit bending.. Particularly great for rhythm sampling - white washes, bass and distortion. It's also very textural, as well as self compositional.
Multi-faceted, endlessly interesting and useful for any type of composition.

As with all CBMods, this will play as stock with all the modifications in their neutral ("off") state.
Send a MIDI signal through via midi keyboard, daw or external sequencer, select your onboard presets (16 track multi-timbral MIDI) and use the switches to manipulate the sounds.
(Of course there is plenty more you can do - patch editing etc - but this is an excellent way to get started. Don't let MIDI scare you. It's brilliant).
If thoughtfully arranged, the results are likely to be the most interesting compositions you are ever likely to hear.
I have added a bunch of fantastic sysex patches, though all of the original presets are available on-line. Feel free to contact me for further details.
Every Rotary Wheel is linked to each switch, resulting in literally hundreds of thousands of possible bends. Maybe millions. (Any probability specialists out there??)
All modifications are accessible via a custom painted, super clean & spacious interface.
The break-out-box is re-inforced with quality, experienced workmanship.
This D-110 is designed as a standalone unit, though it can be placed at the top of an open rack, or on top of a closed rack if need be.
Vintage Akai Sampler - Released in 1993. Used by Daft Punk and many others I'm sure.
This unit has an expansion board installed to double the sampling time to over 30 seconds.
16-bit, 3.5" floppy disk (5x brand new disks provided), no SCSI interface.
Playback and sampling can be controlled via footswitch (provided).
Essentially this is a gutted old Akai Tuner (Radio) bolted into place, with 12x patch points and 2x Switches mounted to the front panel.
This design allows the user to use the unit in a rack (should they choose to do so).
A great sampler, clean, analog, crunchy, drop the sample rate to get some really cool sounds. You are also able to reverse, edit and loop samples..
5 brand new disks included (along with 2x coloured patch cables, and power charger).

In bent form, expect splicing, chopping, bizarre filters, ring modulation, bit crushing, distortion, time stretching, EQ. All kinds of audio savagery..
Your sample will return to unbent when switches are returned to a neutral position. Completely stable and very user friendly."
