"Testing out my midi interface for the GP2X running LGPT for sequencing. So far It is the most enjoyable midi sequencing option that I have used outside of DAWs."
Electro Beat (Korg Electribe Sampler 2)
Published on Dec 16, 2015 Metatron's Cube
"Playing around with my first loop on the Korg Electribe Sampler 2. I love 'step jump'. Anyway, I used the some of the basic waveforms and drums that came as pre-loaded samples. As well as some internal chorus effects and Mod delay on the master effects. It is a very enjoyable machine, of course I need to start recording strange real world sounds like machines and metal clang sounds to use in it. Thanks for watching and listening!

Synthmania quick tip #13 - The Moog Source ''Blue Monday'' patch
Published on Dec 16, 2015
"My 'quick tips' series is back, with a mega-classic synth bass patch, New Order's 'Blue Monday'. I spent a good couple of hours tonight listening to the record and attempting to recreate the patch. I think I got fairly close. For most of the two hours I thought it was a couple of pulses, it turns out it was - I think - simply two saws. With an octave of interval between them. Enjoy.."

RNA vactrol crossfade fun!
Published on Dec 16, 2015 littlem4tt
"Just messing around with a vactrol crossfader on the breadboard and then controlling it from the silent way lfo.
The bass sound is a system x oscillator and the other input channel is an fm sound which is a sys x osc modulated by the sine wave output from the yusynth osc.
The output from the crossfader is then fed into 1 channel of the stereo hearne morley HM2040 filter (12db)."

"This is a great analog modeling synth with 12-voice polyphony, thirteen waveforms, four LFOs, two resonant filters, two effects units and more. The ability to create unique sounds is endless. The factory patches could use some help, but overall the sound is very nice! It has a fully polyphonic arpeggiator that blows all others away. It has five preset arpeggio patterns and fifteen user patterns. Unfortunately there is no on-board sequencer. There is incredible real-time control available with knobs to control the two resonant filters, and a touch controlled 'XY' pad for tweaking patches in real-time."
