via the seller: "I am selling this as non-working unit.It powers up.I think the problem is with the internal clock not working. There is a guy on You Tube who talks about this problem [possibly here, here, or here]. You can manually step through the events. All switches seam to be working .I don't have an analog keyboard anymore,so I can't input any notes or play anything out.I've taken a few pictures showing different numbers and lights on the display. These units are very rare..There were only less than 500 made.Mine is SN 072 .I also have the start/stop foot switch. This unit is also made for the US market (110v).Unlike the other unit listed from Japan that needs a power converter.I was the only owner. It sat in my smoke free personal studio for years. Then it was packed away.I might even have a photo copy of the circuit diagram somewhere that I will include if I find it.There is some scratches and nicks. But for as old as it is ,it's in good shape. No broken switches. All LED's light up.
The 800 consists of 16 toggle switches which enable "cells". Each cell can hold up to 16 note-events each. The cells are loaded from CV (control voltage) keyboard via the CV/gate inputs (1 volt per octave) and can be programmed over a 5-octave range. The Gate is switchable between S-trigger and voltage gate. An internal clock runs from 20Hz up to 5kHz to calculate absolute note length or beat division if being driven externally by a low frequency clock. External input is provided via a specially wired plug. A multi-pin parallel connector is used to hook two or more 800's together. A foot-pedal was available for toggling between record and play modes and start/stop. The CV/gate output is quantized to semitones (1/12). The gate can also be switched between S-trigger and voltage gate."

"Radio lecture 24-02-2016 on the Concertzender:
Electronic Frequencies:

Modular strategies in shaping reflections and space:
An excerpt and simplified version of one of the lectures prepared for the Lindblad Studio, Göteborg, Sweden.
By Roland Kuit.
Electronic Music composers not only create sounds for their compositions.
They create the space where in these sounds are placed, or are even moving as well.
In this lecture the concept of space will be (re-)defined especially for modular synthesis.
Reflections are positional essentials in creating space.
How space can be thought of as an indispensable element of music,
and with the kinds of approaches that emerge when space is dealt with from the start producing a sound work.
As this is a stereo broadcasting, this lecture can not extend more than two channels.
Part of this lecture will be explained by use of very down to earth examples in witch modules and their connections are explained and followed by a more elaborated examples as musical sentences.
Electronic music is not just about pushing a few knobs, it is about creating concepts.
It is recommended to follow and/or download the patch structures for this lecture.

Sequential Circuits Prophet~5 Rev.1 Factory Preset Programs
Published on Mar 17, 2016 Vykaar Tones
"Nearing the end of an enormously lengthy repair of the notoriously unreliable but sweetest sounding first version of the Prophet~5. This one has no cassette interface so the patches were loaded using test roms. This demo was done before final tuning and contact cleaning. Notice how I spot fault number 99 as I am testing it... this was a faulty ssm2020 in the poly-mod section."
