The Long Goodbye (Moog Mother-32, TC Electronics Reverb/Delay)
Published on Apr 24, 2016 Metatron's Cube
"Life is but one long goodbye. Keep going with the adventure.
Just a shorty of some Moog Mother-32 action( it hasn't been in any of our videos lately so why not). Maybe a bit acid-y, maybe not. I've been getting to know the internal sequencer on it a bit more so maybe some some Berlin School with the Monotribes and Pittsburgh System 10 will happen here soon. Thanks for watching and listening!

"A quick capture of this nice patch. All synth sounds from the PerFourMer with white noise being processed by the microbrute as 'percussion.' The 'kick' drum is an AniModule SOB filter in self-oscillation that is triggered by a clock divider and sequential switch combo. Effects are: Eventide Space, JHS Emperor chorus, Echorec, RE-20, and Meet Maude delay. The tune is in the Dorian mode in C."

"I bought this keyboard at a school surplus sale about 10 years ago but it wasn't really what I needed. I only played with it a few times and it's been in the closet ever since. When you power it up it makes old school sci-fi movie type sounds that change somewhat when you play the different keys. The sounds remind me of the sounds of UFO alien effects. Turning the knobs and sliders change the pitch and effects. I'm sure it needs to be serviced to be fully usable, but I really don't know how it's supposed to be or how it's supposed to work. The sound is very clear and strong, but I don't know anything else about it. I'm also sure I have no idea how to use it. Everything to me seems to work as it should but again I have no way to know, so it's being sold as-is for parts or repair, with no warranty of any kind. It was evidently well taken care of. Other than the case having scuff and scratches and painted letters on top, it's in really good shape with no cracks or breaks. On the inside someone engraved a school I.D. very discreetly on the left side area near the controls by the keyboard."
