CS80 - ribbon and sustain mode #1

Published on Apr 15, 2017 noddyspuncture

"The CS80 has two sustain modes. On the one I have selected here (mode 1) the ribbon only affects notes which are held down. Sustaining notes are unaffected, which means that as long as you master the playing style, you can have a couple of different things going on at the same time. I wonder if those plug-in's and other emulations can do that...!?"

STALKER - Improvised Jam Session

Published on Apr 15, 2017 Adam Borseti

"How many of you have read the book, 'Roadside Picnic', or have seen the classic Russian film 'STALKER' by Andrei Tarkovsky? Not many? Didn't think so.

Anywho, this is me basically losing my fucking mind for 20 minutes, improvising off the melody from the main title song of the film. The ARP Odyssey is providing the drone, and later synthy-goodness. The Wurlitzer (if you can really call it that, cuz' it's so processed) is from the amazing Lounge Lizard EP-4; THE best and MOST authentic Rhodes/Wurlitzer plugin on the market, bar NONE.

I used the on-board effects with the plugin running in stand-alone mode.... we're talking reverb, delay, chorus and later on, some crunchy over-drive! I don't expect anyone to watch this whole video, but props to those who do! It was a lot of fun to play!

NEW ! Temple from Error Instruments

Note the Temple with a golden faceplate was first introduced here.

Philosophy:
Our bodies are temples, these temples are moveable by the will of our mind and spirit, used to act, interact, hold facades and tell the truth about our wellbeing. Yes, sometimes it’s wise to listen to our temples, they can tell us stories about ourselves.

Can your mind control THIS temple?

It’s minimalistic lay-out tells it’s user something, but not everything. Treated with respect it echoes and reflects, but when overdone in excessive behaviour it becomes hard to balance and the side-effects start to kick in.

I hear you say what? You are enjoying the side-effects?
In the end it’s up to you which poison you take.
