Novation Circuit as MIDI looper (first impression) w/ Suit & Tie Guy

Published on Mar 28, 2018 suitandtieguy

"Went a little nuts with the idea of using the Circuit as a MIDI looper now that it's had a few system updates. Kudos to Novation for maintaining a product for years now and constantly improving it.

I was told by a few people I left a few things out so I'll do another video like this when the Mio4 gets here.

At some point I'll even do videos about my own stuff!

Brought to you by TASCAM and Hosa."

Black Market Modular Colour Pallette - WMD Aperture Colour

Published on Mar 28, 2018 WMDevices

"Tyler at WMD designed a fun colour module for the Black Market Modular Colour Pallette. The Aperture is a sweep-able bandpass filter with control over the width of the band.

In this demo, we ran a drum beat from drum modules through it with a little help from the WMD Variac distortion and Wave Compiler wave folder for extra madness to the sound."

"New membrane panel and tuning in progress. Turn around time is ue to synth being in shop. This synth was manufactured in 1983 by Fender in Japan. It is very clean, and a fine example of a babied Polaris which has been in the studio. You're not likely to find a cleaner looking and performing Polaris on the market anywhere... This is a six-voice synth with a 61-key velocity sensitive keyboard. It has selective pitch bend, which lets you bend some notes in a chord while keeping others fixed. It has a MIDI interface, and includes a built-in sequencer."
