"We all have old projects laying around. Today I go back to the Analog Rytm Mk2 checking out some of the beats I have on it.

Studio Electronics Midimini Analog Minimoog Rack Mount Synth

"Studio Electronics - Midimini - Rack mounted Moog Minimoog with extra features - Analog Monophonic Synthesizer --- In excellent condition! 100% functional! Looks great! Sounds amazing!! Besides MIDI, extra LFO and modification features added, the oscillator 2 sync and sweep alone are worth the price of entry. Has the original Moog Minimoog boards. Has a little rack rash as seen in photos. A couple of pots are a tiny bit scratchy/noisy, but after I moved them back and forth a bit, the scratchy/noise disappeared." [likely dust]

"Used for one week in a smoke free studio. Mint Condition. CV options and DIN sync for older machines. USB connectivity and perfect SYNC. Amazing piece of kit.
Engine is a powerful multitrack step sequencer with 8 polyphonic tracks for recording both melodic and percussion patterns. Pattern chaining, snapshots and a song mode help move your ideas from simple loops to completed songs. The six performance knobs can be used to control external devices or the built-in performance effects system, which includes velocity and gate offsets and ratcheting. Engine includes comprehensive editing features to fine tune your performance, with rotation, cut/copy/paste for both patterns and individual steps.
An optional CV/Gate expansion board turns Engine into a powerful analog sequencer.

"Tested and working perfectly.
This unit has been serviced extensively by vintage synth expert Steve Jones in Sydney.
Cosmetically the unit exhibits typical crazing and rust spots throughout but it sounds like a million bucks!
I would be very wary of buying a Jupiter 8 that has not been serviced by a real professional who has documented the work carried out. Parts are extremely expensive and difficult to find.
Below is the work that was carried out on the unit from the work order July 2016
'Located and replaced failed Roland BA6632 VCA on lower module controller board. This was killing the VCF LFO on lower voices. Cleaned up gain selector switch. Replaced failed CA3046 transistor array which killed voice 4 VCO 2. Replaced perished rubber buffers on the pitch bender. Calibrated bender and mod controls. Repaired dry solder joint on volume board that was silencing the upper output. Cleaned up all of the intermittent switches and controls'"
