Benge Fugue on the ARP 2500
Published on Nov 10, 2018 zack dagoba
"Here is a little piece I put together using the ARP2500 and a midi file. It is based on a Bach fugue, but I heavily manipulated the notes in my midi note editor so that it has the essence of the original but none of the actual melodies. I then sent the midi data to the ARP2500 via the Modcan MIDICV converter. The reverb is the EMT plate 140"

Autumn Leaves - A piano improv on a Launchpad Pro & with an Arduino
Published on Nov 10, 2018 Lanthan O'Ide
"Just a little piano improvisation, but played on a Launchpad.
I hope you'll enjoy it! ^^
================================
Since realistic piano playing is hard without a sustain pedal, I built my own custom MIDI controller.
With it I can attach a sustain & expression pedal to any MIDI controller.
Pretty neat, huh? ;-)
It has a MIDI input and output, and two pedal inputs.
The Arduino Uno inside it just passes any MIDI messages from the input to the output,
and also sends CC messages if a pedal has been pushed or released.
So I can just put it between any keyboard and synth.
The four buttons & lights on the right specify the MIDI channel for the pedals.
(In binary, of course ;-) )
The LED on the left lights up when a sustain pedal is pushed down."

"experimental ambient. live performance for monome norns, piano, and juno 106 synthesizer.
a moment of stillness on the canyon floor. a bench just off the trail. the final minutes of autumn twilight. leaves rustling and crackling, a nuttall's woodpecker trilling, black phoebes chirping, the dwindling blur of traffic at the end of the day.
three piano melodies and juno 106 pads were recorded into norns and loaded into mlr, performed on the grid. the piano and synthesizer improvisations are played as-is, then layered, relooped, redirected, and reordered. in the background is the stereo field recording of that part of the canyon.
recorded november 9, 2018."

Teenage Engineering OPZ First Walkabout Jam In My Garden | Softly Silent
Published on Nov 10, 2018 NomNomChomsky
"My first walkabout video with the Teenage Engineering OPZ, where I just take a short walk around my garden, while switch patterns on the OP-Z and mess around with the tape track fx.
There's a little trick / tip where you find out how to select which tracks get used in the tape fx.
I hope to do many more of these videos. Longer ones too, where I also show the process of actually making the songs and sequences on this lovely little synthesiser / sampler
Even sampling sounds that I find around town..... If Teenage Engineering update the firmware to include recording samples directly from the built-in microphone. PLEASE TE?! MAKE IT SO 😜🙏"
