Logic Noise Klangorium DIY Glitch Synth by Elliot Williams

"On offer here is a PCB to build your own DIY synth based around CMOS chips, it is based on a series on the Hackaday website by Elliot Williams, I made a few of these and had a few boards left over, last couple remaining.

It can be used to make all manner of things, examples include drum machines, drone synths, sequencers and so on, or it can just be built as a playground as intended for further prototyping, it is up to the builder. It can be built as a complete project, or just the sections you require, it can be built into a suitable case as a standalone instrument for example a drone synth, with the controls on flying wires rather than soldered directly to the PCB etc.

It goes without saying that you will need to have a fair amount of experience and the tools and parts required to build this, I would not recommend it to complete beginners. No documentation other than what is in this listing is provided, so if this is not enough then this pcb is not for you.

Parts to complete the build are not supplied, you need to source them yourself and budget for the cost of those, I think it ended up costing me about £15 in parts to build, but it depends on what components you buy and where you buy them from.

NOTE: This is purely a DIY project and I offer no technical support, search for the project page at the hackaday website (klangorium logic noise) - ebay forbids me to post the link unfortunately for some bizarre reason, which is why I had to end the previous listing with the web link.

It's too bad the Nextel paint on the Waldorf models that have them do not hold up over time. These were gorgeous when first released.

"All buttons and encoders are responsive but I haven't tested fully, but reading forums these things rarely go wrong without use - its is a virtual analog synth after all! In any case I had my tech go over it just to make sure its all tickety boo and apart from the obvious signs of wear and tear as seen in the pictures its good to go.

This has OS 3.02 / Serial No - 920821355"

PMF Ringfolder Demo

Published on Jun 9, 2019 Randy Piscione

"Quick demo of the new RingFolder, from PM Foundations. This is a combination wave folder and ring modulator, with inputs for the folder, X and Y for the ring mod and an attenuated input for folder modulation. There is an onboard "mixer", providing the ability to fold an input wave, the output of the ring mod or a combination of the two.

Get it here (soon): http://www.tindie.com/stores/pmfounda...

VCOs used are all PMF, and all sending out only sines. Sequence CV and drums are provided by a Mutable Instruments Anushri. All other sound is coming from the RingFolder."

MicroBrute SoloTape - "Contribute" (EP Pormo)

Published on Jun 9, 2019 Gomag

"The "Solo Tapes" project is nothing more than just single synth challenge. It was started off by Wojtek Paul at the beginning of 2014. 5 years later (!) Wojtek decided to begin to release recordings from such unusual affair. The project aims to show what can be achieved with just one simple synthesizer.
First part of the project (Solo Tapes #1) consists of 3 tracks and a bonus, recorded using Arturia MicroBrute (tracks #1 and #2), Waldorf NW1 (track #3) and Quasimidi Technox (bonus track) respectively. Everything you can hear on a given track comes from the single instrument that served as the sound source for. Sounds were not edited in any way, so you can experience not only instrument's recordings on the fly, but also learn how instrument's imperfections can be made a performance supporting act.
And the tracks turned into the rich in content piece of electronic music art. Check this out!
Will you join the challenge and try to make a whole track using one synth only?
We hope that it will be a good source of inspiration for you!"

No external FX are used, all are from the Synth and are made for the patch. Where possible, Mod Wheel, Aftertouch and X/Y Pad have assignments.."
