ARP Odyssey MKIII 2823 w/ Lit Sliders

very special original Arp Odyssey Mk3.

Basically Carlos Pizarro, one of the best technicians in Spain (maybe the best) had it fully reburbished to like new condition:

-Integral refurbishment, complete calibration, new illuminated Sliders that makes operating the Odyssey another story compared to the original.

-The synth was disassembled and fully rebuilt. All blocks, panels, controls, connectors, power supply, were fully rebuilt.

-Side woods matching the original colour 5mm thick.

-Brightness of the slider caps can be adjusted or even turned off with a potentiometer. Anti-dust felt all over the panel.

-Improved keyboard with a felt system, eliminating mechanical noise.

-Cleaned contacts, callibrated in height. Working flawlessly

-All keys restored and polished.

Summarizing, this is a very rare and unique unit. Quality built has nothing to do with the Korg version btw.

"beautiful sounding Roland JD-800 synthesizer, ex French composer Frédéric Mercier.

Everything is working fine except the aftertouch. That’s not working anymore, like on most of these synths. There is a simple (cheap) fix possible, but for the long term it needs a new aftertouch strip. We sell it in the condition without working aftertouch. The volume fader is scratchy when you move it up or down.

A Valhala RAM card and the European power cord are included in the sale.

Cosmetically it’s in used condition with a lot of scratches on the case, the corners have signs of use, there’s some wear and tear on the knobs and keys, there’s an Apple sticker next to the volume fader."
