Sequential Prophet 5 rev4 & Pro 3 :: CV Filter Modulation :: Going Further :: Experimental Synth

experimentalsynth

"Further explorations using the Prophet 5 Pedal Filter Input as a CV in and modulating its filter with a CV from a Pro 3. Here I'm sending a repeating step-sequenced voltage pattern to the P5 while the Pro 3 sequence plays in the background. Learn more at experimentalsynth.com"

PROPHET-10 REV4 Synthesizer - Sound Demo - Vintage old school custom patches, Sequential reissue

Tom Loncaric

"The new Prophet-10 Rev 4 synthesizer! Most of these presets were made by me in the last two days. The Prophet Rev4 is a vintage synth lovers dream! Pretty much every parameter is in the sweet spot.

Everything in this video is performed live, in the spirit of the classic synth tones of 1980’s. I have played many of these same riffs in previous videos, and thought it might be useful to for people to hear them again for comparison purposes.

This Prophet-10 is recorded by an iPad with a Roland GO:MIXER. No eq. The only effect in this video is a Moog Minifooger delay pedal."

Creating A Sound That's Been Stuck In My Head // Pro 3 Sound Design & Understanding Envelopes

Ricky Tinez

"I've had this sound in my head for a few days so its finally time to put myself to the test and see if i can make it! This video serves as a sound design walk through of creating an evolving pad sound. Heavily utilizing Envelopes and modulation of the filter we can add a lot or a little bit of movement to the sound. Starting with some wavetable action, this creates an interesting oscillator core that we can work with to further manipulate into, hopefully, creating something beautiful.

Retro Harrier Jet & Falklands Tactical Video | DOS C64 ZX Spectrum

Synth & Sundry

"A low-key celebration of vintage computer game simulators and the poignancy of library music made with synthesizers.

Footage features the following videogames: Super VGA Harrier (DOS), Harrier Jump Jet (DOS), Falklands (C64) and Falklands '82 (ZX Spectrum)

This synth track is based on library music from an old documentary. I augmented it and reworked it using sampled synth instruments and drum machines from Samples From Mars on Ableton Live.

Track title: Just Directors
Music written and recorded by NonComplete (J.Santaeularia) for Synth & Sundry
