"A Christmas tree plays eurorack modular synthesizer via a bio data sonficaiton module. Merry Christmas and happy holidays! A special shout out to all those kids out there who don’t celebrate Christmas, I only recently started as I married into it and it can be a tough time. I feel you... sorry I couldn’t figure out how to get the menorah to play synth, maybe next year?

Changes in resistance are converted to control voltages for a eurorack synth. The tree was a little grumpy and needed some water to start talking, understandably so.

"The third product from Sequential Circuits was the Model 700 programmer. It allowed monophonic synthesizers like the ARP 2600, Minimoog and ARP Odyssey to have the following parameters preset:
VCA envelope and amount
VCF cutoff, envelope and amount
VCO tuning (for 3 VCOs).
The Model 700 programmer was the precursor to the revolutionary Prophet 5 synthesizers. The Prophet 5 used the same knobs, switches and color scheme.
This video demonstrates this 1970s Model 700 programmer with a reissued ARP 2600."

PO-33 & PO-28: Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

"A live version of 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' using the Teenage Engineering PO-33 K.O. loaded with the (soon-to-be-released) sound pack #16operators, plus some solo assistance from PO-28 Robot

I was invited to contribute to the PO-33 sample pack #16operators arranged by @AA Battery where 16 different creators supplied one sample (or kit). Then the purpose was to make one song using this pack as the main component.

In my case I used the PO-33 for almost everything, except the solo parts which are handled by the PO-28 Tonic. All recorded live in one take.

The sound pack was originally planned to be released before Christmas so I made a Christmas song, but was allowed to post this video as a little preview :)"
