"This DW-8000 is fully functional and in great condition. The Korg DW-8000 is a digital synth made by Korg from 1985-87. Sound is digitally generated from the DWGS (Digital Waveform Generator System) The DW-8000 has 8 voice polyphony in two modes, or one monophonic mode with all eight voices stacked. The analog VCF resonant filter and VCA both have independent ADBSSR envelopes. Parameters can be altered in real time via a single programmable slider. There are 64 presets that can be reprogrammed by the user, a velocity sensitive keyboard with programmable aftertouch, auto-bend, a simple arpeggiator and a digital delay unit. The digital delay was astonishingly good for the time, offering up to 512ms delay, phasing, flanging, chorusing and other time based effects. Both the Arpeggiator, Auto-Bend and Digital Delay make this synth an inspiring and great sounding machine to use."

"MICROWAVE 1 rev B in very good shape. serviced by Waldorf in 2020 (PSU repaired,capacitors changed,complete check,tuning) Screen and red jog wheel has been changed in 2021 with Waldorf original parts. Front panel is a brushed aluminium like REV A, not a painted aluminium Few small scratch you can see on the pictures.For me,it looks better in real than on pictures MONSTRUMWAVE VST editor included for fast and deep sounds editing."

"A classic synth for your consideration. Just back from a full servicing this month at Nightlife Electronics in Vancouver, BC (will provide paperwork). It is fully functional, calibrated, and has a clean bill of health. There is some slight speckling above the "BANK" section (pictured), but aside from that this piece is super clean. One pot was replaced, as well as one filter switch button. Great investment or studio piece.

"Fully refurbished.
1. Power supply has been fully recapped. Power regulators has also been replaced.
2. Whereever possible, all capacitors on voice boards, mainboard and misc boards has been upgraded to improve stability of voice tuning and signal coupling, etc.
3. Aftertouch sensors on keybed has also been upgraded with replacements from RetroactivSynthesizers.
4. Although some silkscreen on front panel has slightly faded, it is in very good condition with many years of service expected.
5. This item is switchable between 120V and 240V mains voltage.
6. Includes survival kit containing spare items for maintaining synth."

Dream Machine/The Beast: Ex Bar-Kays Memorymoog SN 1493

"This special and wonderful Memorymoog was a driving force behind the distinctive Bar-Kays super-funk sound, both on the road and in their recording sessions at Ardent Studios in Memphis.

Ownership History
When the music industry started going crazy for all things digital and the Fairlight Audio Workstation was all the rage, the ownership of this Moog went from the Bar-Kays to Ardent Studios, and then to me in 1985. It then continued on in recording sessions at Ardent, then from there to my Memphis home studio, and in the early 90s went into temperature controlled storage at my house, being occasionally set up and played over the past couple decades.

Now Fully Reconditioned
Thoroughly and meticulously reconditioned by the renowned analog synth experts at British Audio in Nashville, this Moog plays as new, right down to the newly felted key stops. The 100% original cabinet has not been altered in any way; the dings and scratches were all well-earned in its early Bar-Kays days, and I wouldn't want to do away with a single nick.
