"One track on the RK008 can contain MIDI messages for any of the 16 MIDI channels - and what if you want to make a recording more editable afterwards: Meet the expand function.

When you do a track expand, the RK008 analyzes the MIDI data and determines if it is a drum track you want to expand or if it's MIDI data with multiple instruments. It works pretty neat!"

Oberheim OB-X8 Demo - "Seize The Day"

"Thought I'd do a Track using just the Oberheim OB-X8 (Besides Drums) for all the Sounds. They're all Custom Patches, some of which I have demonstrated before. I was going to do a Review, but wanted to really get to know the Synth, the way the different Filters, Envelope/LFO Types work together.

It really is an amazing Synth, even though there are a lot of people saying otherwise, well...They're wrong. I love Complex Synths with lots of functions, but end of the day, it's the Sound that counts and the Oberheim OB-X8 has Bucket Loads of it!...Seize The Day my friends :)"
