"Excellent Condition
Comes with original Korg Lid / case that closes up snug like a suitcase
The tolex has a few scratches but it’s in superb condition for 1975.

Nothing was ever wrong with my Synthe bass it always sounded great
But since I decided to sell it I wanted to drop it off for a routine service visit and have it cleaned up and gone over.
Dropped it off on Sept 9th, 2022 at Bell Tone Synth Works, Philadelphia PA
Just picked it up yesterday 9/27/2022

This Bass Synth is a beast !
Instant room shaker and the Traveler VCF is so unique.
4 waveforms and a 5th waveform that’s labeled phaser that just has a vibe all its own.

The receipt from Bell tone Synth Works service visit is attached in the last photo
It’s not my business to share what their fees are so I didn’t show the prices in the invoice

It’s Functioning flawlessly
If your gonna buy a vintage Korg Synthe Bass it’s a must you get one that’s been serviced and maintained!"

"The most natural sounding electronic instrument I’ve ever played. The aftertouch is soooo dreamy. Need to fund other purchases. This is likely one of the last opportunities to own a CS 50 for this kind of money before full blown vintage market sillydom claims it. Purchased recently from second owner, very well looked after."

The CS50 is four voice polyphonic. The CS60 is eight and the CS80 is eight w/ two simultaneous patches. All three feature aftertouch but only the CS80 features polyaftertouch.

Osmose sound design work in progress #5

video upload by Expressive E

"This video is giving a sneak peek at the current state of some sounds that our in-house sound designers are programming using the EaganMatrix by Haken Audio, Osmose's internal synth engine.

These sounds range in different categories such as subtractive synth sounds, FM keys, physical modeling pluck, and pads, all taking advantage of the new keybed interactions offered by Expressive E's AKA (Augmented Keyboard Action©).

Buchla / TipTop 245T Sequential Voltage Source - updated

video upload by Cinematic Laboratory

"I really felt I needed to edit and reupload this one. A Buchla 'pulser' is something different. I knew that, but I forgot because they sound like squares and PWM. But they're actually squares with little envelopes which makes them ideal to ping a filter or LPG. So I had to set this right and add some scopes. Thanks Rainer D for your information!

In essence, the 245T may be one of the earliest sequencers in synthesizer history. The first one ever was desgined by Raymond Scott in 1951. Buchla's 245 design (1970) originated from the 145 (1964) and Moog's sequencer was conceived in 1968. So it's a bit like a dinosaur compared to modern superpowers like the DAW and Eurorack gear with big displays (Vector, Westlicht, Eloquencer, etc). So the 245T is the opposite of advanced. And yet, it can really bring any rhythmic patch (in any system) to life. It can be amazing with a sequential switch and a quantizer. It's going back to basics, but these basics can render amazing results. It's a real Buchla."

Logic for Sound Design

video upload by Martin Doudoroff

"Logic modules aren’t just for making rhythms: here we show some simple ways that logic can contribute to sound design.

TWO BITS

Dual logic processor with chaining and CV functions
Two dual-input logic processors
15 different functions
Simultaneously available normal and inverted outputs
LEDs on all outputs
Chaining optionally inverted by dedicated button with LEDs
Chaining does not waste any input or output; an additional virtual input is created in the second section
Functions with duration, voltage, percentage, and ratio are user editable.
User settings are stored automatically
Random pass, voltage comparator, clock mult/div and delay line functions allow CV control
White LEDs next to the pots confirm the matching of knob position and function
The outputs can be Ored by simple shorting in a multiple
Firmware upgradeable by playing an audio file
Low consumption, skiff-friendly & compact module

The DPO and Echophon

video upload by MAKEN0ISE

"It's been a whole decade since the release of the Dual Prismatic Oscillator! Let's take a look back at how exciting the DPO (and the Echophon!) was in the world of modular synths in 2012.
