This has popped up twice before, once in 2007, and once in 2015. Both posts have some additional info.

Update: It's worth noting back in the day you could hire EML to build out custom designs. Check out the monster Mattson EML system and The Performance Music Systems Syntar from Mattson in previous posts here. Also see Carbon111's Syntar page.

From the current listing:

"This is a 'Modular' unit, similar to the EML 100/101 but doesn't have a pre-patched Signal Flow.

I've never seen any other - if you have any information about this item, please contact me.

It offers:

* Noise Generator

* 2 VCOs with Pulsewidth / Waveshape controls
* a 3 input Mixer
* the classic EML Multimode Filter
* Spring Reverb

* External Input

* VCA

* S&H/Sampler LFO

* LFO with 2 outputs

* Envelope Generator which can be triggered by the Keyboard of the Sampler

* Glide

*Multiple

It is fully working and really offers the classic EML sound (I do have a EML 101 to compare) ."

Synton KBM35 Keyboard Controller

This one was spotted and sent in via M Me.

This appears to be the first one featured on the site.

Note the touch plate controller as found on the Synton Syrinx.

Kawai SX-210 61-Key Analog Synthesizer

"The SX-210 uses DCOs (1 per voice) with traditional analog VCF (filter) and VCA envelope generators. It features 8-voice polyphony, a 4-voice mode using 2 DCO per voice, and a monophonic unison lead mode (8 stacked oscillators!!). Program changes are entered using a global "Increment" wheel sort of like those used on the Roland Alpha Juno series. Fortunately its implementation is much better on the SX-210 - just hit a parameter switch and adjust the dial to the desired value or effect. The downside is there are only 32 memory patches. The oscillator section offers 3 waveforms, a sub-osc and PWM control plus a noise generator. The low pass VCF (filter) has its own ADSR envelope generator. There's also a high pass filter. The LFO can modulate both DCO, VCF and VCA, all at the same time! It is also one of the only synths to feature both glissando and portamento. A pretty rare machine for only few thousands made."

"Italian made Vintage 70s Crumar Orchestrator String Machine / Polyphonic Synthesizer. It’s in good condition with normal wear. It was recently professionally deep cleaned internally and externally and serviced. I think you will be surprised by how incredible this keyboard plays and sounds in person.

One of the richest and lushest sounding 70s string machines ever made in part to its officially licensed Moog Filter on its brass section. It can sound very very similar to the legendary Arp / Eminent Solina and even Arp Omni (Joy Division Synth) but has more tricks up its sleeves.

The Crumar Orchestrator is one of Jonny Greenwood's favorite keyboards and it's been used on a ton of Radiohead songs both in the studio and live. It’s been used by a bunch of other artists as well to this day due to its warm and immediately nostalgic sounds.

Everything works perfectly except the top octave of black keys. They work perfectly for the Violin, Cello and Brass sounds (the best sounds) but currently don't trigger the Piano and Clavich sounds on keys F#4, G#4, A#5, C#5 and D#5. All of the white keys up there work as they should. All of the other keys work as they should. It doesn't come with the lid. "

Drones With Volca Drums???

video upload by Perplex On

"#jamuary2023 day 29: After taking the drone route yesterday with the Dreadbox Typhon, i thought i could try to push the #volcadrum into similar territory. This uses some external fx obviously, using mainly #velvetmachine reverb, but the source material is purely the Volca Drum. This technique is inspired by @oscillatorsink glorious drone jams and is even using his online patch editor for the Volca Drum to create the sounds."

Fragments Vol 1 - Patches 33 to 64 (of 64) - Arturia MiniFreak (You are hearing Minifreak V)

video upload by GEOSynths

"Out Now - https://www.geosynths.com/arturia-min...

What a great little Synth this is, which packs quite a Punch! I bought initially for Live use, however after designing a few Sounds, I thought I'd do a little Bank for it of 64 Patches, here are the final 32.

Fragments Vol 1 contains 64 new Patches for both the Hardware and the Software Plug-In. In the Demo the Audio is coming from the Plug-In, not the Hardware, though there really is very little difference, if any.

There are Motion Pad's & Dynamic Strings, Thunderous Bass & Cutting Leads, Vintage Polys and Keys, creative Arps & FX,plus a whole lot more. I didn't do any Sequences, they're left blank for your own Phrases :)"
