"Here is a Roland SH-5 monophonic analog synthesizer with multimode filter, recently serviced, ready to play and record. US voltage. All functions work, and it happily stays in tune rather well for a mid-70s analog synth.
Cosmetically, there are some scratches on the metal panels and on the tolex and on the end caps. It shows the expected wear of a 45-year old instrument, but no grievous signs of abuse or maltreatment. If you are looking for a minty museum piece, this is not the SH-5 for you. But if you are looking for a solidly working, playable SH-5, please continue, and see the photos for the best impression."

"Super warm sounding vintage analog polysynth
It has been extensively serviced (all key contacts cleaned, all tact switches renewed, power supply recapped), And it has MIDI IN fitted !
It's in a very beautiful, well preserved condition. Smoke free and clean.
Everything is working perfectly, and the great analog sound quality speaks for itself."

Welcome to Bad Gear, the show about the world's most hated audio tools. Today we are going to talk about the Roland JD-08. Is this digital synthesizer, member of the Roland Boutique family and miniscule version of the somewhat legendary Roland JD-800 a worthwhile alternative to the 1991 original? Did they emulate the red glue too? Is this synth just ri-di-cu-lous ?
