"This CS-15 has recently been gone through and given a thorough service. All electrolytic and tantalum capacitors have been replaced, along with the power transformer so that it can accept US wall power more easily ( it was from Japan, rated for 100v power). The tuning has been calibrated and tested and everything works and sounds fantastic!"

One VCO with variable waveshape, which can be transposed 5 octaves/ sub-octave doubling/ Moog classic VCF with cutoff frequency, resonance and depth control of envelope generator/ Envelope generator has both Filter contour, and VCA contour. Attack, sustain, release times adjustable./ Modulation section allows for selecting source and sending it to VCO, VCO+VCF, or VCF only./ Noise generator, an LFO or sample+hold circuit can be selected as source./ Ribbon controller for pitch bend + modulation wheel./ Can process external audio in the VCF and VCA sections/ Portamento Glide 1 msec to 5 sec./ S+H auto and S+H keyboard triggered

Rear panel: -10 or +12db outputs/ S-Trig input+ output/ keyboard voltage out/ Filter input/ oscillator input/ audio input/ modulation input-output jack for external switch or pedal control


Serviced July 2023 by Bell Tone Synth Works " Replaced all key bushings, leveled all keys/ Cleaned all switch contacts, fine tuning pot, and mod wheel/ Calibrated oscillator tuning; tested all functions after stress testing and touched up oscillator tuning again." (see copy of service receipt in pix)

**Minor cosmetic damage. See pix. Left rear aluminum frame has dent. Left rear corner bottom chipboard base has some seperation.

Comes with original MicroMoog 100 page operation manual by Tom Rhea."

This was the caption for the video as I posted it privately on the 11th of may 2023: 'This is a messy first video with a few of the new Joranalogue Audio Design modules that they just announced yesterday. There's a 5 minute version of the jam at the end listed on youtube, but I wanted to share something more and up close with my supporters. So there you go. Please keep in mind that I haven't elaborately study ROUTE 4 (nor DELAY 1) so any insights could be wrong due to lack of thorough experimentation.'"

"Busy working away on the next Custom Bank, and I find myself asking, Why do so many people say the P12 doesn't sound analog enough??, I get the whole DCO vs VCO debate will never end, but considering this synth was made way before the 'vintage' mode was developed, it can still sound remarkably warm and full of character.

This patch utilises the Binaural stack, only saws, but modulated, touch of LFO on filter, LFO modulating the P12 delays, and it sounds Lush, Warm and Very very analog to me.

I'm interested to hear the current opinions on this fantastic synth. I for one fully understand why the late Dave Smith pegged this as his favourite ever creation.
