Exploring the Endorphin.es GHOST Pedal

video upload by Waveformer

"The Endorphin.es Ghost Pedal is a multi-effects distortion + filter + delay + reverb pedal with flexible routing and powerful modulation options. This video explores a part of the sonic landscape made possible by this pedal, with text overlays explaining the knob-twisting as I go along.

The Norand Mono plays a simple 8-note sequence, starting with a triangle oscillator, and then moving to richer timbres later on

The MS-70CDR is only provides a simple slow-moving AutoPan Delay, with depth set to maximum, so the delay volume is in effect modulated by a slow-moving LFO, like the echoes are circling around you and disappear when they're at your back.

The Golden Master Pedal is set up with the multiband compressor enabled on the low and mid bands. The Mid/Side-processor widens the stereo image for the upper and mid bands, and puts the lower (bass) band more towards center.

No effects were used on the Bluebox. It is only used for mixing/routing and for recording.

The audio is recorded to SD card on a Bluebox mixer/recorder and normalized in Audacity. Video is recorded on a Canon EOS M50 mk2 with the included EF-M 15-45mm lens. Audio and video is synchronized in DaVinci Resolve 18 (free version).

Thank you to Endorphin.es for sending over the Ghost Pedal and the Golden Master Pedal for me to test out.

Audio connections:
- Norand Mono - MS-70CDR - Ghost - Bluebox
- Bluebox master out - Golden Master - Bluebox channel 6 in"

SpazeDrum: Random Track Switching

video upload by gotharman

"Making four tracks randomly switch between each other, using the Note Randomizer function on SpazeDrum Black.
The four switching tracks are made with the analog cymbal generator, the kick drum is made with the analog percussion generator plus digital destruction filter, and the bass sounds are synthesizer parts.

Wet Techno. Volca Drum VS Fluorine #drummachines #generative #generativemusic

video upload by SPHERICAL SOUND SOCIETY

"Reuploaded with sound.

A jam done sunday morning after party. Volca Drum VS Fluorine.

Fluorine is an handheld synthesizer designed for creating futuristic rhythms and textures, akin to sculpting sonic landscapes.

It employs a novel synthesis technique known as Recursive Bytebeats. It´s based on the classic Bytebeats but using higher and changing bitdepths, not the static 8 bits and applying new algoridtms to the time management, turning the native mono in native stereo and applying some recursive/fractal cornucopia to the code to expand what the classical bytebeat can achive.

To use it, you simply explore its capabilities by adjusting the knobs, similar to tuning an alien radio station. There´s some knobs and an OLED screen too for good measures.

There´s also a DIY option for builders.

You can order Fluorine in my stores:

"Vintage Baldwin Syntha-Sound Synthesizer from the early 1970s. These are incredible synths that I’ve found to be quite unique. They have built in spring reverb, speakers, and an interesting percussion effect. This one has been serviced and is fully functional."
